KevinMcGuire 0 #27 June 11, 2005 QuoteMade of transparent plastic, like the stuff cypres AAD control units is made of ; only a bit thicker The rig was probably safe to jump tho wouldn't have been too hard wearing! Really it was just for a raffle competition......."how many parts in a Javelin"....the answer was x any guesses? Define part. What I mean by that is if a flap is comprised of 1000dn courdura, 420duck, 40mil nylitron, a 0SS grommet and foam in between it all, then does that count as 1 peice or 5. Define that and I'll get right to the precise number.
BartsDaddy 5 #28 June 11, 2005 I forget the exact number but it was somewhere around 340 pieces if I remember from the article I read. That could be + or - 30 or 40 pieces. I am definatly no expert on rig manufacturing. But I did read an article that it was over 300 Handguns are only used to fight your way to a good rifle
KevinMcGuire 0 #29 June 11, 2005 I can believe that. You'd be surprised how many small little pieces of support tape and the like are in a rig. many of them cannot be seen from the out side and unless you have taken a rig totally apart, or build one from scratch, you'd never know they were there
