1969912 0 #1 November 11, 2011 My HP-15C calculator just croaked. Served me well since 1985. College, office desk, machine shop, production floor, etc. It has had a LOT of use, and some keys are well rounded on the edges from wear. The "2" key first started acting flakey a few months ago, and now the "enter" key is pretty much unusable. It's probably not repairable, but I'll give it a shot. For those not familiar with the HP 10 series calculators, they are RPNAnyway, partly due to a petition on HP15C.org, HP produced a Limited Edition remake of the -15C while back, but they are currently sold out Rant over...... sundevil777 94 #2 November 11, 2011 When people start writing expressions in RPN, then it will make sense to use calculators that operate that way. Just because it has advantages for software doesn't make in sensible for a calculator. I was around in the days of RPN calculators. They are not so popular for good reason. edited - just not so popular... People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am
1969912 0 #3 November 11, 2011 I've been using RPN calculators since high school, and don't really know how to do anything more than simple math on an algebraic calc. CanuckInUSA 0 #5 November 11, 2011 My HP-16C is like the Energizer Bunny. It keeps going and going and going. They don't make them now like they used. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
