NorrinRadd 0 #1 August 19, 2013 Ashleigh Beacham, 15 year old, swam 52 km, or about 32 miles, for charity, across Lake Ontario. Damn... I am impressed... http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2013/08/19/ashleigh-beacham-lake-ontario-swim_n_3780428.htmlWhy drive myself crazy trying to be normal, when I am already at crazy? Bignugget 0 #2 August 20, 2013 That is a long ass way to swim. 3 miles in the pool and I am ready to stop, no way I am doing 32 miles. I bet that water is cold as hell too.
NorrinRadd 0 #3 August 20, 2013 After a while hell yeah it is cold! I swam once out in the middle of the lake. It was brisk but refreshing.. especially after two days of ship-board drills (Navy reserves training). But to swim all the way across... that cold would get into you.Why drive myself crazy trying to be normal, when I am already at crazy?
