BPO 0 #1 November 9, 2004 Anyone out here who has flown both the Nitro(n) and Cobalt (in same size?)? I can't seem to make up my mind. The Nitro opens quite nice, has lighter front-riser pressure than Cobalt and seems to have a shorter recovery-arch. The Cobalt 'feels' a bit more high-performance. I've jumped both chutes five times now, not really enough to get to know the differences well enough. Both chutes are 135 sqft. I have searched the forum for comparisons, anyone with some remarks about differences in flight-characteristics?
diablopilot 2 #2 November 9, 2004 You've flown both, you ought to be able to make a comparison. If the Nitro is a little too tame for your liking the Blade from the same company is very nice. Beware it is definately more to handle. I'm all about openings. It's why I fly what I do. Oh and it's "arc". An Arch is what we have in St. Louis.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
VectorBoy 0 #3 November 10, 2004 Can you define " feels more hi performance" for us? I'm just curious. I also would like to try the blade.
BPO 0 #4 November 10, 2004 In comparison with the cobalt the nitro reacts a bit slower to toggle & harnass input. That's what I meant with it.
