WrongWay 0 #1 October 20, 2004 Okay, so I took off the screws on my Altimaster Galaxy to replace the wrist strap. Now I notice that these screws not only mount the strap, but if they're tightened a bit much, it makes the dial hard as hell to set. My question is: Will the tightness of those back plate screws affect how my alti works? Wrong Way D #27371 Mal Manera Rodriguez Cajun Chicken Ø Hellfish #451 The wiser wolf prevails. voodew1 0 #2 October 20, 2004 I would go to alti-2.com and ask the manufacture as an altimeter is a very valuable tool in regards to knowing where the hell I am before I would trust anyone with a theory on this site. They will be very helpful and respond within 48 hrs if not sooner The pimp hand is powdered up ... say something stupid

falxori 0 #4 October 20, 2004 in any case, next time you're on the plane, compare the rate of change to other altis. even if it goes from 0-1200, it still has to do it fast... i do it whenever i drop mine O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
