lawrocket 3 #4 July 19, 2014 Saw him many years ago. He was rail thin, which when mixed with his albinism made him appear a ghastly wraith. One guy who was whiter than me. He looked like shit. He took a guitar and took a chair. Guy couldn't even stand. Then the guy played. And sang. I can't say I was particularly impressed. He was just too loaded on whatever he was on at the time. Which was a shame because the guy was such a bad ass to me. I was talking a few months ago with a colleague about him. (We'd been talking about Alvin Lee last year. Christ - I'm not talking with Tom about anyone I like anymore - every time we bring someone up he dies). Tom had seen him more recently. He said that he was blind, a physical mess, but was mentally fine. And that he just blew him away. I guess Winter found himself again. RIP. I wish I'd have seen him when he was Johnny Winter. My wife is hotter than your wife.
