Elisha 1 #1 November 3, 2015 So today is National Sandwich Day. I think the internet newsy news told me I could get a free sandwich from Subway if I want. Meh. Only if someone randomly gets it for me. I'll probably honor the day at a quality local place instead. More to the point though...who the hell thinks of these things and how are they "decided"? All corporate sponsorship (i.e. Hallmark for Valentines Day)? ISTM that only in the past year or so that every day is some different food "national day".
