flyapitts 0 #1 October 28, 2008 I did a tandem jump last weekend to see if I would like to get into skydiving and loved every second of it. I'm now saving every penny I have to get my AFF jumps done. I do have one question, what would be a good canopy for a newbie like myself to get after I complete the AFF?
mrbiceps 0 #2 October 28, 2008 get the newest and least jumped gear u can afford. if u got $7000 then go and buy a new rig, if not then there are some good deals to get u started for around $1500 in the classifieds section. Stick to a 1.0 wing loading for your first canopy. Dont get caught up in the jumping a smaller canopy crap to early. I have heard bones break and its nasty. Even though I may have fracturd my coccyx (ass bone) sliding in on a landing, I'm ready to go again next weekend and finish up. ONE AFF JUMP LEFT!!!!!!! WOOOOOOO HAAAAAAAAA!"Get these balls!"
