apollard24 0 #1 September 28, 2005 Well I am not sure what to say. I am new to the sport with only 3 jumps under my belt and all I can say is wow. I have so much excitement about the sport that I think that I am driving my boyfriend crazy! All I do is talk to him about skydiving now. I think the excitement has left him a little after 600+ jumps. He took me for my first tandem jump to our local dz in Florida where I was sucked into the sport. The whole plane ride up to altitude he kept asking if I was nervous, my reply was no. And I wasn't, I was just excited. Skydiving is nothing I have ever thought about doing, but hey, why not? After that I loved it and could not wait to go back and jump again. I am currently doing my AFF. I really like our local dz and people there are so wonderful. Who would have thunk it! I am lucky though, that I do not have to purchase all new rig and equipment b/c he had seconds of everything. I cant wait to get the new Parachutist and Skydiving mags every month.
