I am only 14 and i still have 4 years 2 mounths and 1 day to go

My name is Matt and i cant wait till i can go. I want to do AFF but dont ask were i will get the money

actually 2 years. if i am not mistaken the age for tandem was lowered to 16 with parental consent. get some tandems and make them working dives. and learn to pack. hell, you could be an ace packer by the time you get to go through AFF, i cant tell you how much that will help you. and you can get paid for it. there is plenty you can do before you are 18 to help you out in this sport, i have seen it firsthand at my DZ. good luck.
edit to add i know folks that paid for AFF with packing - they pack all day saturday and then do AFF on sunday.

Thanks for the ideas I do live by a DZ and i could pack chutes. One problem. I have no idea how to pack a chute

I didnt know that the tandom age was 16.

go to the local dz. and tell them you want to learn how to pack, and that you want to work there next summer while your out of school.

it isnt hard to pack at all, trust me. by the time the summer is halfway through, someone there will have taken you on a tandem. as long as your a good kid and not a little punk ass like most skydivers.

learn to pack. you can make good money at your age.

$400 a weekend is good money to you isnt it?... it is hard work, but there is alot of rewards.

think u have to wait long. my dad started skydiving when i was one and they made me wait until i was 16. i was a packer when i was 12 so i think it would be good for u to start. but remember it gets worse the more u are there and cant jump.
