freeflyjimbo 0 #1 February 3, 2004 Hi, Anyone heard of a 'Skyworld Specialties Concept' container system? If so, are they any good? are they TSO'd? do they have a web site? Thanks
linestretch 0 #2 February 3, 2004 is there any markings on the rig, like a s/n, and origin of mfg? Somewhere there would be something about it being TSO'd. I would bet that it's not.my pics & stuff!

Try looking on one of the reserve risers for a label. SparkyMy idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals
freeflyjimbo 0 #4 February 3, 2004 It is for sale in ebay, so can't check anything. Looks like a Javelin clone. Has the word 'Concept' embroidered on the side of it. I've been in touch with my rigger here in the UK. He's never heard of it and his advice is stay clear!
meatbomb 0 #5 February 3, 2004 Jim, That would be my advice as well...there are plenty of decent freefly-friendly containers out there...well maybe not in your (our!) size Get a new rig then come jump with me again... I still haven't found anyone else I have to stand to stay with...--- Swoopert, CS-Aiiiiiii! Piccies

Adriandavies 0 #7 February 3, 2004 I just looked up 'Skyworld Specialties Concept' on Google and it came up with one response....the world sex guide-escorts-brothels-prostitutes., so unless you fancy untoward itches, and discharges of puss I wouldn't go for the rig. riggerrob 558 #8 February 3, 2004 Skyworld Specialties is a one-man shop owned and operated by Ron Dionne. Ron has been building rigs in his Vancouver Island shop since the 1960s. Ron is well-respected among Canadian riggers, having served for many years on CSPA's Technical Committee. Ron's latest design - Concept 2000 - looks like a Javelin at arm's length. However a detailed inspection reveals several minor improvements, like a Wings-style split free-bag and Ron was tucking in reserve pin covers several years before Javelin introduced that feature. No, Concepts are not TSOed.
freeflyjimbo 0 #9 February 4, 2004 Thanks for the info. Kind of thought that it would be a one man operation that made the container. Looks not a bad piece of kit. The ebay sale will be a good buy for someone.
