vesatoro 0 #1 May 21, 2003 Maybe I wasn't careful enough doing the search, but didn't find too much debating on canopy life. So how many basejumps a F111 canopy will handle untill it can be considered unapproppriate for base use? I know it is much dependable of the conditions it is used and packed, but all thoughts are wery much appreciated. base570 1 #4 May 21, 2003 Also it depends on how it is configured... Slider-up or slider-down. My thoughts are that slider-up deployments are tougher on the lines and slider-downs are harder on the canopy. I'm trying to jump equal amounts on my 2 rigs. One canopy has around 300jumps and the other has around 200. Not sure exactly how many are up or down right now but if your interested I can look it up.
