    Boss

My boss is the same way. I started doing better in my job when I started skydiving. I tried to convince him to let me take a work trip to AZ this winter to no avail.
  2. I've only been out there once so am by no means an authority, but as I recall both the DZs on Oahu are on the North Shore at Dillingham Airfield. There are some bed and breakfast places in Haleiwa. As far as resorts, your best bet is probably Turtle Bay.
  3. Thanks for bumping this thread
  4. I just got back home. It went very well. I was prepared. I'm a larger guy, 75" 240 lbs and I fall fast, I would love to draw cartoons about my feelings because those were great and similar to what I was feeling, but I draw like a chimpanze holding a broken crayon with its feet. Things couldn't have gone smoother. The AFF Instructors ensured that I was very well prepared, which really helped me to relax while in freefall. I pulled at 6500, but that was about the only issue. All in all, I'm thrilled and cannot possibly say better things about my instructors!
  5. And I think everyone around me is tired of hearing me talk about skydiving
  6. I think I'm in the same place right now. I have only done two tandems so far, but I've paid and signed up for the AFF starting in 11 days. Since my first tandem, the world has been a better place. I smile more, I've yet to have a bad day at work, and in general I've been more productive all around. My wife has gone with me. None of my friends or co-workers understand. I feel like Shaft.
