  1. Haha, I believe Americans have forgotten to be American. More legislation is not American, the market responds to the consumers. The problem is that people are too selfish to simply help their fellow countrymen. If you purchase a toy for you child for Christmas, your child wants the biggest box, any you want to pay the least for it. If we all started buying American products, then the demand for American made would grow and would stimulate growth in the US manufacturing sector. If we all continue to save $0.80 on that $6 product rather than supporting the local community then the Chinese win, simple. Think globally, act locally! We are giving it to them; it is our selfishness that we have to blame, not the government, not the Chinese, not anyone but ourselves. So try to source American products where possible. Little changes make a huge difference. Start with the flag you fly at the front door, I bet many of those are made in China…LOL Back a hundred years ago, especially around Woodrow Wilson, what happened in this country is we took freedom and we chopped it into pieces. 2. Be more specific man. Do you always have to hide behind ambiguity? Tell us your thoughts or don’t throw accusations around. Back a hundred years ago, especially around Woodrow Wilson, what happened in this country is we took freedom and we chopped it into pieces. Ron Paul
  3. Well when if many of you people can say Atmonauti is neither a discipline nor a manoeuvre, then go and tell the FAI. It was a compulsory manoeuvre at the World Parachuting Championships for a number of competitions so has been recognised by the FAI. 4. Would you care to elaborate... I beleive you don't know what to think. Back a hundred years ago, especially around Woodrow Wilson, what happened in this country is we took freedom and we chopped it into pieces. Ron Paul
  5. And I don't think you will see those 'Kochs' acting very republican either. Back a hundred years ago, especially around Woodrow Wilson, what happened in this country is we took freedom and we chopped it into pieces. Ron Paul
  6. I don't understand what all the fuss is about. Many of you people have a very skewed definition of what a republican is. GWB for instance was not a republican, he (his administration) had the Patriot act written up well before they got elected, they wanted to go to war with Iraq whether the people wanted it or not... That is not my debate, am pointing out that they are not actually republicans and there is nothing all that right wing about a republic. The USSR was a republic after all, and that takes us into another skewed definition poorly portrayed through false propaganda in the USA... Communism... The evil Communism by definition is about as republican as you get. The problem is that those posing as Republicans are really not for the people or the republic at all, they use the title as a pretence to gain acceptance. And those that are posing as communists are usually more of a dictatorship (ever read animal farm?). John Lennon was for the people, republicans are ‘supposed to be’ for the people. Why is it so hard to believe that John Lennon was a Republican? He was one of those Idiotic fringe lunatic weirdos like Ron Paul I suppose? What is wrong with our education system that people can allow themselves to have such a great misconception of reality? 8. Hi, We received a new black HMA line set for our precision tandem 330. When it was ordered a line map was requested (as the rigger asked us to), but it has arrived there is no line map with the line set. I have emailed precision (yesterday) but did not get a reply today, so if anyone out there has one and can be bothered taking a photo/scanning it or has a link to one online, we would be very grateful. I am sure precision will answer but the canopy is at the machine waiting... 9. Err, I understand that the 'argus ban list' that is a sticky is locked, but why the other thread? Because it is locked It will now slip down the chart. Then we start 'yet another' thread on the subject so can you explain why that thread was locked please. If people are posting irrelevant things and flaming each other, warn them, remove the posts and allow the skydiving community to discuss the subject. There is no benefit in stopping the conversation. Except if the move (by mirage) goes against your stated position when the PIA letter was published. So for the sake of the community, please unlock the 'Mirage issues SB rescission on Argus AAD's' thread. 10. Pretty simple, so I am just throwing it out there. I see many people read this forum and not many post. (Gee, I wonder why) This way we can get an idea of what the people that read this forum think rather than just listen to those that talk over everyone else... For those that are not so familiar with how The Fed was established here is the stiff and long version... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federal_Reserve_System And here is a humorous version in video format for those with short attention spans... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3eXMCi3pQE Back a hundred years ago, especially around Woodrow Wilson, what happened in this country is we took freedom and we chopped it into pieces. 11. Try not to reply to Ad Hominem, it is used to get you to stop discussing the subject, corner you and to move the subject away from the point that they are unwilling to accept. Then you will then be called a fringe lunatic. Just stick to the subject; if people turn 'you' into the subject, they have something to hide. The reality of all this (WAR) is only starting to get across to the American people (and the rest of the world), there has been an unprecedented amount of propaganda trying to ensure we ignore the harsh reality... Don’t fall into the trap. Back a hundred years ago, especially around Woodrow Wilson, what happened in this country is we took freedom and we chopped it into pieces. Ron Paul
  12. Wow, what a terrific post. I am glad there are actually people here with rational thoughts that can assess the situation to its true extent. Thank you for being you. I still believe auditing the Fed is the first step. It is owned by ruthless banksters that have essentially ripped off the entire world with false claims. If it was audited publicly then we would KNOW that it is all just a farce. Then ‘Susan and Thomas’ that have been too busy watching American Idol may get a glimpse of the truth as well. Then we can have a chance at a real revolution, get rid of the corporate criminals ‘Marcellus Wallace style’ (get medieval on yo ass), create a real democratic voting system and have a go at starting again. I agree that we are fucked which ever way we look at it but ignoring it will not make the ramifications any better I can assure you. If we just ignore it, then they get away with it. I'm sure there are all sorts of financial sidesteps protecting the assets of these ruthless yet talanted people, but who cares... Put them in a stock and throw rotten tomatoes at them... Once they are dead, their assets will be useless to them. Actually I reconsider what I believe the first step is, Step 1,Bring the Boys (and girls) HOME!!! Step 2, Audit the Fed. Too many lives lost... for what? Back a hundred years ago, especially around Woodrow Wilson, what happened in this country is we took freedom and we chopped it into pieces. Ron Paul
  13. Weirder things have happened, look at GWB for example. If I was an uptight person I would call out your personal attack, but I know the tactic. Find yourself up against a point you cannot refute, e.g. The sinking US economy, collapsing dollar and the reasons it is happening. Then you will attack anyone that suggests that the status quo will fail, this allows you to sleep comfortably at night 'thinking' everything is OK. Then one day you will be in a position where Ron Paul’s warnings will not seem so 'fringe' and 'Far Out', then all of a sudden it will be like.. Yeah we knew that was going to happen all along... WMD’s anyone? LOL. I can rest assured that the PNAC has already failed, they are too foolish, arrogant an haphazard to accomplish their ambitions. 14. Ron wants to defend our boarders not the boarders between Pakistan and Afghanistan. I don't think for a minute that china is gong to invade, but it is something that we should all consider. We have been flexing our muscles for a long time, now it is their turn. But you are correct; this tangent has gotten way off topic. The primary reason I am voting for Ron is his open dialogue about the Federal Reserve. No other politician has the guts to even bring it up let alone challenge the legality of it. When congress is not allowed to see the gold in Fort Knox and we cannot see the books of The Fed then we have basically lost control of our very own economy. Auditing the Fed is the first step in getting out of this mess. 15. It is more likely that we would start world war 3, we will start it when we know we are on the way out. Once Pandora’s Box has been opened, then 'hey why not?' They do have a couple of billion people to accommodate. Put it this way, if you are one in a million; there are 1300 people just like you in china.... Maybe for a little more elbow room at the dinner table? Back a hundred years ago, especially around Woodrow Wilson, what happened in this country is we took freedom and we chopped it into pieces. 16. reply]This will not happen in our lifetimes. There is no need for China to "invade" the US. If this is your fear, then it's unfounded. It is not my fear, I fear the actons of the US/Nato first and foremost at present. To say this will not happen in our lifetimes is pretty ignorant though, there are people still alive that were alive during WW1, WW2 the cold war and many others. America is not as untouchable as we would all like to beleive, the war on terror has weakened us all considerably and China simply gets stronger and stronger. Russia is pretty quiet about all this too. Did I mention India? Human beings are not the nice humble critters we make ourselves out to be. It was a hypothetical situation I presented but it is not so radical. China has a VERY LARGE Population and a economy that is growing at an alarming rate. They do not need America to sustain this. I bet the North American continent looks quite attractive to them. The less money, power and influence the US has, the less important it will be to the rest of the world. They could repopulate North America and still be overpopulated at home. Strategically now it would not be a good idea to invade, but if the USA fell on its ass there would probably be a queue to kick us in the ribs while on the ground. http://www.rfa.org/english/energy_watch/maritime-06202011112532.html So every shitty plastic tool you by from the bargain basement, goes some way towards paying for military expansion of China. Be careful what you believe and use you common sense and experience with human nature and history to determine what is likely or not. 17. Will pigs have wings when the Chinese aircraft carriers pull up along the west coast and the war begins on your soil? The sleeping giants will still have a bitter taste in their mouths from that debacle that supposedly finished just a couple of decades ago... It will be too late to say, "gee maybe that man (Ron Paul) was right, we were so blinded by our own arrogance the whole time to see that what we were doing goes against the very principals we were striving for"... O'bomb'ya will only drive the last nail in the coffin. We have much less time left than we are lead to believe. 18. Great post and good points. Yes Ron is not correct on everything, and there is much talk about the gold standard not being stable enough. LOL, so I ask these people; 1, do you believe that the Greenback can last much longer in its current state? 2, what other alternative do you suggest. 3, After the gold standard was removed and the war pretty much ruined everything early last century, what currency was quickly adopted in the meantime? 4, The Federal Reserve system is/was supposed to avoid bubbles and crashes, do you think it works? 5, is the Federal Reserve System designed to help the people or the bankers that 'OWN' the fed. Remember there is fuck all that is federal about it... Back a hundred years ago, especially around Woodrow Wilson, what happened in this country is we took freedom and we chopped it into pieces. 19. That amendment was passed at the very same time the banksters were pushing the Federal reserve act. Nelson W. Aldrich was front and centre with the implementation of income tax and the federal reserve system, later becoming a family in the Rockefeller cartel and a bankster himself. I believe America needs to rewind to the first decade of the 1900's, learn a little from hindsight and reverse what is essentially theft. The Federal Reserve is a private corporation that loans money to the government and people at interest so essentially creating a debt based economy. The 16th amendment is part of the same puzzle, slotted in at the same time as a part of the same agenda. You should learn a little about history. Sixteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution Nelson W. Aldrich Federal Reserve Act Haha, I just found a very humerous presentation that puts it simply for you. What the Fuk, is a central banking system FEMA is not essential for the government to bring aid to its people in times of disaster. The notion of Fema is ok, but the actual result of their actions is not. 20. He is wrong because...? At least he has the capacity to back up his assertions with dialogue. If you are going to challenge the stance of somebody that is in congress, then you had better back up your comments with some substance. Simply stating; “he is wrong” doesn’t exactly carry weight. Here is his stance on the subjects. Ron Paul 2012: Abolish FEMA Ron Paul: Abolish the Income Tax! 21. That is the face value you put on it. His position is that these things are unconstitutional, so they are illegal. If these things disappeared we would still all be OK. 22. Ron Paul is a distraction? He is his own man, he stands for what we have always been told that we should all stand for and he is not afraid to take on the daunting process of reversing the current sad state of affairs. He has more 'balls' than any of the other puppets out there, don't be fooled by his appearance and politeness, if in power his ‘work’ would be very stern indeed for anyone that decides that change is not in order. He knows the rules, and he knows them better than every one else it seems. He is what we need right now, a rude awakening. 23. If you look into it, you will find that is the root of all the problems. Money based on nothing can only last so long, people have a short memeory. 24. I believe Ron will gain popularity from Democrats and Republicans alike, I love the guy but I am opposed to some of his policies. He has honesty and he says what is right in his mind and he honours the forefathers and the blood spilled to gain independence and civil liberties, he does not simply say what you want to hear. Once you hear what he has to say, then the policies of the other candidates seem quite irrelevant. Survival is more important than building an empire. It is not about Republican v's Democrat this time, this is about saving what is left of America! 25. As I understand it, and correct me if I am wrong, but what has been considered Republican policy for the past decade has not really been republican policy at all (smaller government etc etc.). Ron Paul has had the same points for decades and he has stuck to his points, he doesn't back flip for political popularity, he uses his brain and his integrity. That integrity is paying off now as he has been correct (95% of ) the whole time, though the policies and mindset of the other 'co called' republicans is still quite different to his. People are beginning to wake up to the lies. People were mostly reluctant to believe that the economy would completely collapse before now, this is the USA we are talking about after all, but now it seems quite inevitable. The complete collapse of the US economy will result in international financial turmoil. This is why other countries are rapidly moving away from dependency on the dollar, inflation is out of control. The Muslim countries are moving to gold and silver coins, while that is currently illegal in the USA This is what Ron Paul has been saying since the 70's. The constitution is what he has used for a basis of his policies and he is not afraid to point out that people are breaking the law, no matter how heavy handed they are. He will need some good security if he makes it in as the 'heavy handed ones' have been trying very hard to remove our constitutional rights for quite some time now... To answer your question, he is not their front man, the 'Giuliani and Palin type' are 'their front men', but they only have rhetoric and lies to present, we are learning to see through all that now days. The Democrats are no different to (most of the other) Republicans in that sense; they just do (say) what is considered to be popular, not what is considered to be right. Then they just go ahead and do what thay are told by the banksters, completely disregarding the constitution.
