  1. Hi, I currently use a Sony PC1 and backup is a Sony PC3. According to the menu I can change the output from European PAL to American NTSC. However according to a visitor from the US I have to buy a camera that outputs in NTSC. Does anybody have experience of this , can I get a camera that will do both? I intend to travel between Asia and the US doing tandem video amongst other things. I am from Ireland and we use PAL. Blue skies. David
  2. Hi, I would like to get something neat to side mount a PC1 or a PC3 to. The set up I have at the moment ( should mention I only flat fly ) has the camera pointed up by 15 degress above horizon. Is anybody aware of a camera helmet that faciliates both the dv cam and stills ( on top ?) to be so angled . I want to get into stills. I am based in the Irish Parachute club, and would not mind second hand. Thanks to all those who got back to my last posting ! David http://homepage.eircom.net/~mercurytechnologies/
  3. also , have a look at the picture attached, does anybody actually use a set up like this , what are the results like ? Coudl you consitently sell them ?
  4. Hi, I have about 600 jumps , tandem , 4 way etc. using a Sony PC1e. The iris motor jammed on it and I am about to buy a whole new set-up . I am a student paying his way through college and have an ideal budget of about $2000 . For that I would like to get a Decent helmet , site , SLR and the thing you put in your mouth ( I have not to this point taken stills , but there is a demand on my DZ ..esp tandems ) and a new camera. I can get my hands on a PC3 for about $800. What would you buy , esp for the remaining $1200 ?? I am nervous about buying a helmet online ( there are no agents here in Ireland as the sport is relativley small but growing )..what if it doesnt fit . I know there is a lot there , but a kind soul s patience and advice would really help...as I dont want to work as a waiter to finish my degree! Blue skies.
