    Jesus would not had been a white man, fact.
    He is no more a historical figure than is Bilbo Baggins, fact.
    Megyn Kelly is a verifiable moronic, fact.
    Faux News just keeps getting weirder, fact.

  2. lol everytime the GOP goes left and spends, they lose in elections. This isn't a win for them at all. They'll either lose in the primaries or conservatives will stay home figuring there's no use to vote for two sides of the same coin (truth).

    Anyway, we don't have an tax (income) problem, we have a spending problem, plain and simple. Take everything from all the rich and corporations, and after your scorched earth policy, you fund a year's worth of crap. Of course, once you've pillaged everything, you can't fund the next year, but hey, who's paying attention?

    Hobby Lobby can certainly do that. They can also offer insurance that doesn't cover contraceptives or the morning after pill.

    What they can't do is then claim that they are meeting the ACA minimum requirements.

    And end up paying the tax. Which I guess is still less than a decent benefits package if you simply drop them altogether.

    How much did the whole going to jail over a week old policy that he hadn't even tried thru regular channels first cost him? And, guess what.. when he tried calling his old buddy the Sheriff... not only was he too busy to talk; but in the end, the Sheriff defended his Deputy.

    It shouldn't have been a policy to begin with. Day 1 it should have been challenged by a parent walking up and saying I'm taking my kid home.

    It's called competition and cost controls. Everyone, including the Republicans wanted something done to control costs. A large part of the bill is cost controls and performance measures for doctors and hospitals. If your insurance company re-negotiates with your doctor and your doctor does not like the deal, then they are free to pursue a different deal with a different company or branch out on their own. That is actually called CAPITALISM.

    I have had 3 doctors drop the insurance company that I was with in the past 18 years I have been in the USA and paying for health insurance. This is far from a post-ACA problem, but of course, you will attempt to turn it into one. M current doctor still complains every day about the insurance companies and how they screw him every day. He does it today post-ACA and he did it 5 years ago, pre-Obama.

    It is no different than certain body shops working with certain car insurance companies and not with others. old news.

    So its typical that 50-100 million people get dropped from their insurance in one year? Because those are the projections for 2014.

    I see no need to own a AR-15; but that is just me.

    Depends on who you are protecting yourself against. Even if we set aside the government argument (which was the intention of the 2nd amendment), Korea town during the LA Riots absolutely proved that you'll want something bigger than a handgun in certain circumstances. And of course, just for a 2-3 people breaking into your home, its a lot easier to engage them all when you've got an AR-15 ready as opposed to say, a 6 shot revolver.

    ***http://lastresistance.com/3630/another-store-clerk-fired-refusing-murder-victim/"These days, if you want to work for a franchise like a convenience store, you have to agree to their terms, which may include being someone’s murder victim. Most of these places have 'no tolerance' policies, which prevent their employees from being able to defend themselves with any kind of weapon. You’re not even allowed to try to fight off a perpetrator. You’re supposed to do whatever the criminal wants; give him all the money from the safe, let him steal your car, give him a medium dark roast coffee. Or, if the armed robber feels like it, also give him your life."

    If you don't like the terms of your work agreement, don't accept the job.

    Pretty much this. I'd carry at work, if work allowed it. Even though FL allows CCP holders to have a firearm at work in their vehicle if the employer does not, I'd rather not risk butting heads with the power that be and I just stay unarmed during my 8-5.

    This from a left-leaning site:

    =============
    The nonpartisan Government Accountability Office (GAO) ruled that some of the administration's ads promoting the new program were illegal while others were misleading. GAO investigators also found that the White House illegally withheld data from Congress on the cost of the new law. The new federal web site allowing people to compare plans and prices was delayed by weeks, while just 300 customer service reps manned the phones to help new enrollees. Yet over six million people immediately lost their coverage, while hundreds of thousands more would be refused treatment because of malfunctions in the computer systems linking providers and insurers. In response to the mushrooming crisis, governors in mostly Democratic states spent billions to continue coverage for their residents, while the President pleaded with insurance companies not to cut off their current policyholders. Nevertheless, the White House sided with insurers and rejected bipartisan calls to delay the enrollment deadline even as public approval plummeted to 25 percent. It's no wonder John Boehner called the rollout of the President's signature domestic policy achievement "horrendous."

    I earn more than 73.4% of Americans? Dang!!!!!
    I do know that I earn more the the vast majority of those in the county I live in. An extremely high percentage of those in Lawrence County, MO do collect welfare and food stamps. That is their fault. They all vote republican and every office in the county is ran by republicans. The workers in the county continue to vote anti union and continue to earn minimum wage. The reason I don't work locally as I would never make more than $20k a year. I earn over $60k. Seems that I am paying the way for conservative freeloaders working low wage part time jobs while enjoying steak on my dime.
    What is funny is these idiots blame the unions and the democrats for their low wage while their employer pulls in big profits. They don't have any problems taking free hand outs on my dime but, complain about about anyone else who takes food stamps:S

    And yet, poor people and minorities across the board have become far worse off with the current POTUS and democratic leadership. Go figure.

    A step in the right direction!?!?!?!:P

    The only time any elected politician is"sorry" is when they get caught with their hands in the wrong cookie jar, caught in compromising positions, or just plain lying.B|

    But if you're willing to buy the line, far be it me to deny you of your delusion.

    +1

    He's not sorry at all. Its astounding that with the amount of lies this man spews, anyone would believe that he's actually sorry based on a stupid little snippet. When he actually fixes all the damage he's done and scraps this abortion of a healthcare law and then begs for forgiveness, I'll believe him.

    So the Gov't decides what is best for you now.
    You can't make your own decisions anymore.

    Par for the course for the Left. You're too dumb to know how to run your life. Course, that's just lame belief that thinly veils the power and money grab that's behind every move.

    Intrudair make a good quality suit.

    TonySuits isn't anywhere near a 15-16 week lead time right now. If you call I think you will find it closer to 6-8 weeks.

    I ordered my R-bird back in August and they quoted me 8 weeks. Came in just under 6 when it was all said and done in September.

    ahahahaha.

    The original writer of this is actaully claiming he understands the ACA well? Really? What's it grown to again? 10-20k pages, up from 3k? And did he master the regulations which are 30 times longer than the law itself? Please. :S

    In some ways, agreed. For example:
    =======================
    Tea Party will destroy GOP in 2014
    By Brent Budowsky - 05/24/13 10:53 AM ET
    The Hill

    For the far right, dreams die hard and delusions never end. As Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), who represents a congressional GOP with unpopularity of 75 percent, prepares to summon former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, with popularity above 60 percent, to testify, the overreach of House Republicans now threatens Republican control of the House. The triumph of the Tea Party within Republican politics is a gift to Democrats in 2014, as the disastrous vice presidential nomination of Sarah Palin in 2008 helped propelled Barack Obama to a two-term presidency.
    =======================
    Pretty smart way to go about destroying the GOP - from the inside, from people who claim to be its champions.

    Who cares? Half the GOP are RINOs or cave on their supposed values they might as well all be far wing lefties / only interested in their own power and money. They all need to go (all of Congress that is). At some point, a limb is so infected with gangrene you just have to cut it off.

    Tea Partiers know science better than non tea partiers.

    Go figure.

    The key words you have missed:

    "Amongst Conservatives"

    From the Article you quoted:
    Quote

    Yale law professor Dan Kahan posted on his blog this week that he analyzed the responses of more than 2,000 American adults recruited for another study and found that, on average, people who leaned liberal were more science literate than those who leaned conservative.
    However, those who identified as part of the tea party movement were actually better versed in science than those who didn’t, Kahan found. The findings met the conventional threshold of statistical significance, the professor said.

    Didn't miss it at all. But I do think its interesting that the guy had (and has) a negative view of TPers when he free admits that he's never met one, let alone talked to one. Intellectual honesty ftw on that one :)
