It is quite obvious that the term "prop blast penetration" doesn't work for most people. I liked the alliterative quality, it is kinda fun to say, but I am willing to let it go. I think that "forward throw" is a great term that I have heard as well, or perhaps "relative wind penetration", "jumprun penetration" or even "horizontal distance traveled". How about we put it to a vote and have Sangiro change the article based on the people's choice?

  18. Your assessment of the velcro keeper is incorrect. I can't speak to the force needed to release a 2 x 2 inch keeper, but I use a 1 x 1 inch keeper and it requires only a couple pounds of pull force in any direction to release. It is the two inch wide velcro that concerns me. However. a long one inch wide Velcro that is excessively long, in a sheer configuration may also hang up. I do agree that a small piece of one inch is just fine. The main point to make here is, test it. If you can't pull it off easily, use another method. Thanks for your input! 22. You guessed it. The line pinches in on both sides of the buckle at the same time when you pull sharply downward. It works quite well. I am not suggesting that this is the only, or even the best way to cut a helmet away. It is merely the easiest to rig up, and therefore the one most likely to be adopted swiftly by the majority of the jumpers. This can save lives. Lots of 'em.
