    I haven't watched any games but I can say I have read the stats.

    The bears will not be losing to Green Bay

    They may even win the Superbowl because the other team sucks so bad.

    the bears are so shitty when playing green bay in the playoffs.

    also the jets are going to win the entire thing (and sexy rexy called it). the knocked off the best team in the league. this week when they play the steelers revis will be on ward and cohnmarty will be on wallace (maybe reverse however b/c of Wallace is faster and so since revis is faster he will be on him)

    the major factor will be can the jets get pressure on rothesburger he is slow as shit but built like a bull so it is more important to make him make mistakes and turn the ball over

    i have never had to try so hard to keep myself from laughing in class then just now after reading this... brilliant

    and it used to be polite to ask for a person but with cell phones i am calling the persons personal phone so it can be assumed that the person i want to talk to will be the one answering the phone. land lines are dying breed move on.

    the real question is not "What the hell is wrong with todays youth?" but " what the hell is wrong with todays older people lacking the capability to keep up with a changing culture?

  5. well i live in colorado... go skiing and skydiving there are some DZ's out here in colorado so go skiing for a few days then skydiving for a day or so

  7. not sure how accurate this is but i do remember reading somewhere that Kittinger only signed on to the program because of the science and medical advancements that this program was looking at. the article (which i can't find at the moment) made it seem like their was an overall goal more then just breaking the record that scientists could apply towards real world applications. this is why i supported the project. red bull also has the financial capabilities to pull off something of this magnitude. Hogan should back off and let the experiment take place he was not the first to come up with this idea if anything the credit should be given to Andre-Jacques Garnerin for being the first person to jump plus he jumped out of balloon (got that name of of Wikipedia not sure if it is right)

  9. i flew home with my right in may this year and just had it on my back through security placed it in one of the baskets through the x-ray machine it went though with no problem both in denver and in NY even with a AAD in it.

    i never let it leave my sight i don't trust other people with the most expensive thing that i own.

    with that i did pull the leg straps all the way closed and rolled up the chest strap so that there was nothing dangling around to get caught on. i don't think anyone look at me differently.

    on a different note i was traveling with my brother and he joked about pulling my reserve in line at security.

    also one of the guys at my drop zone told me that only an FAA certified rigger can handle your reserve so if they want to open it then ask if they are a FAA rigger or if they want to give you the money for the repack them selves.

  11. i had my Vector 3 resized just before this season started and it went great i called UPT and spoke with the rigger and he told me to e-mail him with my sizes and 3 pictures one with me standing there one with me standing with my arms out both from the front and one from the side with my arms out all with the rig on.

    they just had to extend the webbing and not put a new harness on.

    price wise it was only $190 to get it extended where a new harness would have costed $500

    it took about 3-4 weeks and that includes shipping both ways and all of the rigging work

    so i would say call the company rigging office and talk to the rigger they know all the answers to your question

  15. i pull at 4k but thats b/c my canopy snivels for about 1K or more (i'm on and icarus Omega) my hard deck is about 2K but every time i think about i feel that looking at my alt is not really a priority in my head give it like 3 tries and then i'm getting rid of it

I have a customer in the US who is owing me $1,200 so what i would do now is, i will instruct him to make out a payment( Check or Money Order ) to you in that amount and as soon as you get it cashed. you will deduct your money from it and hold on to the remaining balance till i come back to the US in some weeks time ,as i will be using part of the money to pay for the shipping and other expenses. Although i know the value of the payment is more than the price you asked for but i think i should be able to trust you with my remaining balance and the item pending my return to the US.
    So please if my conditions are okay with you,i would need your Full Name,Address,City,State,Zip Cone and Cell Phone Number so that i can tell my customer to get the payment sent out to you as soon as possible.
    Pls get back to me as soon as you get this mail so that we can seal the deal in a timely manner.

  19. so i just got this e-mail today from a potential buyer for my canopy but i feel a possible scam due to the ridiculous payment method and the fact that she has already set up with the shipping company to pick up the package even though i have not given her my address

    i don't know all the dangers but i do fell that i have an idea of some of the dangers through reading this forum and talking with other freeflyers... like i said communication and information are key (and this is not only with skydiving)... knowing what the dangers are is the first step to approaching them

    would you start to do something that is dangerous without finding out the dangers before hand to prepare you for what might happen?

All to many times people try to stunt the growth of free flying by "you dont have enough jumps yet", or "you should do this first". If you can get stable, solo jump, and want to learn a new disapline, why not learn it? If your not dangering other people I dont see the problem. For CReW or formation flying, i agree with more jumps or more experience, for solo freeflying.....grounds the limit boys. Thanks again for the help and i too will be trying head down with fitz next weekend.

    I agree i did my first flower exit on jump number #48 after went into a sit they were both good FF's (lots of FF jumps don't know the exact numbers) and they kept up with me it was informative and fun... found out after that at this DZ i need 50 jumps to be FF but didn't know about that before i went on the jump i don't think i was putting anyone in danger because wasn't quirking out and they knew that i had only 2 solo sit jumps before then (i tracked perpendicular to jump run then went into my sit to get away from people)... the only thing that happened was i was back sliding a bit (not to bad) but it was perpendicular to jump run (did like i was told)... i don't feel that i needed 50 jumps to start FF because when starting something new your always going to have some problems (i know many people backslide for a while wen learning how to FF) it's just knowing what the problems are and knowing what to do to minimize the danger i think that communication and information into what your doing is very important before trying FF

    i don't know anything about CRW so i'll stay out of that comment

  24. i am not an instructor but i witnessed a student get turned away in the middle of his AFF level 1. after watching the videos and doing half of the ground training they went on lunch break. i was talking to the instructor in front of the tandem student harnesses before they started back up again and a student comes up to him and asks him "so when do we get does the person get on our back?" after being stunned (the both of us) he just replies "what?" the student again asks the same question. the instructor just says to the student "one second" and walks away. i left and wondered off but i heard latter that day that the instructor came back with another instructor and they talk to him and remove him from the class and sign him up for a tandem jump... needless to say he has not be back at the DZ since then.
