  1. Hi there:
Skydive Cross Keys in New Jersey is open all year round, and we just finished our busiest February ever! We are currently running the Grand Caravan, so you can even jump a turbine in March. Lots of fun jumpers come out at this time of year because so many DZs are closed - it is a real gathering spot and very social. Safety Day is coming up March 12, if you want to check us out! The best directions are right on our website at www.skydivecrosskeys.com.

I hope you can join us for some fun!

  2. Hi there:

Where are you coming from? I know you can get cheap flights into Newark most of the year.

Come on out to Skydive Cross Keys if you can! We are running a Super Skyvan (rear exit) with a 15 minute turnaround time, a Super Otter (bride of FrankenOtter, and built by the same folks), a Grand Caravan (19 passengers), a vintage Stearman Biplane, and our favorite scream machine, the turbine Alouette II Helictoper!

There is an event planned for most weekends here, and we are just under 1 hour from Newark. We would love to plan a special event just for you guys!

If you can make it out this season, please let us know and we'll organize the welcoming party, and set you up with free organizers, cool aircraft, and a big nighttime bash! You can reach us here at 856-629-7553. Hope to see you!

  3. TO THE MOST EXTREME SKYDIVERS ANYWHERE!!
Just want to say thanks for jumping your buns off at Freeezefest! Notice we special-ordered a winter storm on Sunday just for you.
Kudos to Cassidy, who flew here from Florida, and through a Herculian effort made it back with 20 minutes to spare before muster.
It was great to see Kevin and the other Maryland jumpers, Doug, David M, David P, Lisa, Jennifer, Darren, and Charles.
Brave jumpers from Kentucky, Virginia and West Virginia made the trek, too, and showed us up in the Freezefest Olympics! Thanks to Wes, Rob F., Jay, Ralph, Liz, Addie, and Julie.
We always love to see our friends from NY and North Jersey, including Jules, Phil, and Pookie who provided a lot of the entertainment on Saturday night.
We also had visitors from even farther north who were getting away from the cold :^) Jeffrey, Don, and Jason came from Ohio, and I especially enjoyed seeing Dean and Sven from Ontario, Canada!
Thanks also to our regular jumpers from all over PA and NJ. The parking lot was jammed, the airplane was full until sunset, and it felt just like a summer Saturday except we were missing about 50 degrees of heat!
You guys are all HARDCORE! Can't wait to see you all back here for another jump party!

  7. Hello Everyone, Skydive CrossKeys here. Just wanted to let everyone know:

Skydive CrossKeys will have turbine aircraft on location all weekend. We will be down after 12:30 on Saturday due to a TFR for President Bush in town, but plan to jump all day on Sunday. Come on out.

  8. The Alouette II helicopter will be flying the entire event! The helipad is at the end of the boardwalk, so in addition to awesome helicopter jumps all weekend, boarding the helicopter will be just a short tram ride away from the landing area.

For additional information on the event and hotels, or to ask questions, please visit the Skydive Cross Keys bulletin board at www.skydivecrosskeys.com. On the bulletin board just scroll down to July 3-4 Wildwood Boogie.

Online registration is also available at www.skydivecrosskeys.com. We'll see you at the beach!

  9. We are celebrating the return of Boxman to Cross Keys! He will be here on the weekend of June 4 - 6 to organize, and plans to work with a group all weekend and build RW skills. Boxman is one of the best organizers anywhere for working with large groups of jumpers who have a wide variety of skill levels. You will learn something on every single jump!
This year we have seen a significant increase in the number of RW flat-flyers at Cross Keys, so we hope to see all of you take advantage of Boxman weekend. Boxman is the master of the big chunk exit, and it is a blast! You can join him starting on Friday, and it is a good idea to get right in on the group Saturday morning, as the skydives will progress throughout the day.
Later at night we might even be treated to a bit of Boxman crowd surfing if we encourage him. Who's in?

  10. Bring your grass skirt and your Hawaiian shirt! We are having a Luau, and Rob "the Pilot" Branch is the guest of honor. Please join us this Saturday, May 22.
Rob is leaving us for a flying career in St. Croix, and we are going to miss him! In his honor, we are donning Hawaiian shirts for the day on Saturday, and hosting a cookout in the evening at Ottley's Tiki Hut on the back deck.
Rob the Pilot has flown more jumpers than almost anyone currently flying. He also holds world records for daily load numbers in the Otter and the Skyvan. To honor one of the most experienced jump pilots in history, please bring your favorite Rob story so we can roast him alongside the BBQ!
For more information please join our Bulletin Board at www.skydivecrosskeys.com. If you wish to post your good wishes or favorite story either here or on the Cross Keys site, we will make sure he gets them all! Stories, please!

  19. I just want to post a big thank you to Scott Miller who ran his Canopy Skills Camp over the last 4 days here at Skydive Cross Keys. Everybody is still talking about it! Each one of the 20 participants (all different skill levels) learned something new and useful, and recommend it as an invaluable course. Scott is a great communicator, and very well prepared. He has promised to come back in the spring!
