  2. Please join us and find out! This boogie typically is one of the best attended of the entire season - and we've had people fly in from as far south as Florida! We even have a little snow right now, which makes the whole thing funner (yes, funner is a word in skydiving). And the party plans are coming along nicely - it will be a night to remember - if you can!

  7. Live National TV at USPA Swoop Nationals and Boogie, Wildwood, NJ

The United States Parachute Association contracted JWalcher Communications to organize the PR at the Wildwood USPA Nationals of Canopy Piloting, and the media interest is HUGE.

Both “Good Morning America Weekend” and the “Weekend Today Show” will be doing live broadcasts from the beach during the competition. All local TV stations are sending crews, and even the radio stations are getting involved! Matt Cord, local DJ from WMMR will be jumping onto the beach for the official opening ceremonies on Friday, September 1.

This is the first time a USPA national competition has been held in public, rather than on a DZ, so the media interest is enormous. Promoting the sport to a larger general audience was the intention of the USPA when they chose Wildwood for the competition – and it seems to be working. By Saturday morning, skydiving could be the biggest thing on TV!

Fun jumpers are welcome to be part of the event and skydive onto the beach, too. Freefly and RW organizers are available all weekend. A “D” License and water gear are required. Jumps are $22, and registration is $25. Please email [email protected] for an invitation to the Beach Boogie!

  12. Dear Northeast Skydivers:

Skydive the Ranch, and Skydive Cross Keys are both really great skydiving centers. The opinions of Vertifly in no way reflect the opinions of the people here at Skydive Cross Keys.

The Ranch is well known for a caring staff and friendly atmosphere, and has a long history in the Northeast as a solid skydiving training center. We at Cross Keys have many, many friends at the Ranch. They are instructors, videographers, and fun jumpers, and they are all great representatives of the sport. We would jump at the Ranch without hesitation.
Many of the licensed jumpers in this area go back and forth between Skydive Cross Keys and The Ranch regularly. The Northeast is a great place to live as a skydiver, because you have so many excellent dropzones to choose from. We encourage everybody to try out different skydiving locations, and decide for yourself which place has the best vibe for you. You can find a full slate of events listed on our calendar at www.skydivecrosskeys.com. Please come and check us out!

    Sincerely,
    Skydive Cross Keys Management
