  1. esp. if new technology comes around that makes tunnel time cost less $$$
  2. http://broadbandsports.com/node/17808 What do you think about starting your kids off early in the tunnel so they have plenty time logged before they ever drop?
  3. There are a few basic training videos that I found were nice and helpful to watch from home when first starting out. Here is an example- instruction on a barrel role: http://broadbandsports.com/node/28923 The name of the company that does them is expert village
  4. thanks, my bad, search tool is a friend i know..
  5. a really really bad day.. http://broadbandsports.com/node/28694 what are the odds of that happening to the same person twice? Gotta get back out there!
  6. so its not that hard and they are idiots? haha
  7. ya i hear that when chuck noris tried this, he found out he could fly
  8. Never been in either position but who do you think is more impressive in this plane to plane transfer? http://broadbandsports.com/node/24971 Not sure what technical skills it takes for the pilot but it cant be fun going nose down and just waiting!!
  9. Heres another fun vid for ya.. http://broadbandsports.com/node/22723 I love seein the prep- planning. Team comp looks like a lot of fun! The Stuff they are doing is sIIIck!!
  10. I dont think in the Mr Bill scenario anyone has really pulled it off waiting more than a couple seconds after exit to deploy
  11. Good point.. I think it really takes awhile to figure out exactly what you like/ enjoy the most. I think that can also change over time
  12. total irony.. the fishier fish all migrate anyways..
  13. The dropzone in that video isn't next to some tropical paradise, either. That dropzone is in CANADA! It's my home dropzone - Skydive Burnaby, just by the northern shores of Lake Erie and the team in question is Stratosfear who were former Canadian National champions. HAHA ok ok well maybe not "tropical" Maybe its time to look into new things..
  14. how many practice jumps to form a complete run?
  15. ya these guys do looks pretty legit. So do you and your team compete?
  16. http://broadbandsports.com/node/27403 What does everyone think of team skydiving/ competing like this? I watch this video and think that these guys (or girls cant tell for sure) are missing out on how amazing the scenery is. My DZ isnt right next to some tropical paradise and I STILL love just soaking it all in. Now I dont have a ton of jumps under my belt, but I cant imagine it getting boring. Does it ever lose its edge? Do you need something to do on the way down? Do you start having to find other things to make it fun after so many jumps?
  17. Actually you're very wrong. There are records of it happening. I assumed there had to be, sh*t happens and there have been a lot of jumps over time. Any stories? urban legends? about anything like this..
  18. are there any records of a tandem jump without the second being harnessed? Like maybe one persons chute wouldnt open?? Would it be possible to hold on with the right grip?
  19. i remember watching that on espn all the time!! i thought it was pretty sick but havent seen much of it in awhile..
  20. sounds like the picture you saw could have definitly been one of the first tandems.. That 5 year old didnt even look nervous and definitly would have had a better idea of what was going on then a two year old..
  21. thats interesting, it does have to be a fun experience jumping with your kid. I would want them to be a little older than two tho so they could enjoy it!!
  22. thats kind of what i am saying.. should someone else make that decision for them? you dont see anyone shoving a marble up their kids nose..
