  1. I din't say you had to help me or that I had to help you....I mean this in a broad sense. If you are not giving more than you are taking, or at least equal give and take, then you are hurting society as a whole....thats more clearly what I mean.
  2. Dont we all think that Whuffos suck, as a group?
  3. Well I havent broken any of the 'rules' in this thread to be booted but.......what the hell..... BOOBIES! Mike
  4. What if I came up to you, a perfect stranger, and loudly said in front of everyone that you owed me $1000? You would be offended and shocked at the absurdity of it. I feel the same about slave reparations. And, if you call me prejudiced or racist for that viewpoint, is it not prejudiced or racist for people in Europe to be 'Anti-American' because some, not all, people in this country favor war? You don't know me and you do knot know what I have 'given' the world. My life philosiphy is, "If you are not helping, you are hurting". I have had a job since school and I measurably contribute to society. I feel I morally contribute to society by not staying with the herd and taking non-popular stances that I think are correct. I have never hurt anyone and I have given more than I have taken.
  5. I find it amazing that you can psychologically analyze my demeanor from a few posts. I don't think anyone that knows me personally would say that, mabye so....I just get pissed if someone says I owe them something that I do not and is ungreatful if I do give them something. If that makes me 'angry at the world' so be it. Mike
  6. MikeD, You are funny and smart....You must be a closet American! Thw whole point I am trying to make is: I have no problem with being Anti-war. I am anti-war but I feel that it is a necessary evil. I have a problem with people in Europe being "Anti-American". Not all Americans are for war. There are many more people from foreign countries living in America than Americans living in foreign countries. It seems that true "anti-Americanism" is empty rhetoric.
  7. Please don't lock this thread because of that! I AM sterotypical and I AM a loudmouth. That is a true statement. Mike
  8. I see you are in Florida and probably were not born in the USA...Im guessing not due to your name. If you were not born in America, you have no argument. You, and many other Europeans, are over here enjoying the freedoms and lifestyle you so jealousy despise.
  9. The Scottsman who is the first response to my original post said And as to what I know about European Psyche, see my original post. I couldn't care lees about European psyche, just the fact that we have done more for Europe than Europe has done for us. Mike
  10. That is exactly what I am talking about. Europe thinks they have the right to be protected by our Constituition. Lets say, for arguments sake, they do. I have the legal right to say my mom is a cum guzzling whore, she is not, but how morally right would that be after all she has done for me, even if I was pissed at her about another issue? She has done nothing for me compared to what America has done for Europe. Mike
  11. http://www.msnbc.com/news/871193.asp?0cv=CA00 Haven't we come to their aid or defeated their Nazi government at the cost of thousands of Americans. To all in Belgium, France, England or Germany that are 'anti-American' I say "Fuck off and die you ungrateful assholes, burn in hell and I hope you get anally raped before you die." We are wanting to DEFEND Turkey and they are against it???? Mike
  12. No, but is has an Autofind Fritz and Mike feature....Straight to the ghetto.....
  13. 28K....Not bad considering GPS, Leather, Heated Seats, 240HP V6, traction, sunfoof, 6 disc changer in the GPS. The GPS has controls for just about everything integrated in the touch screen and they are all voice activated. Say "71 degrees" and the climate control goes to 71. It even sets the clock on the dash from the sattellite - You can't adjust it if you wanted to. It also tells you your altitude.
  14. This is in my new car I finally just got today. It took like an hour to program my voice to do everything. The whole car from the radio to the a/c is voice activated. Tell the GPS to go to the DZ and a females voice tells you how turn by turn. I love it. 2003 Honda Accord Coupe V6 Mike
  15. This, while funny and right-on, is an old joke and never really happened. Some "General" or NRA person has this same interview every year. Mike Glock 9mm in glovebox
  16. It was 8 hours of fucking torture. I pray that the 30 other people in my class were not a true demographic slice of America. They were 30 of the stupidest mofos I have ever seen. Several Comments heard: "I would pull over and turn on my hazardous lights" "The officer thought I was drunk and gave me a variety test" I weep for our future. Mike
  17. YAHOOOOOO!!!! NASCAR is finally back....I have been depressed for 2 months....Im going with longshot T. Lab. 5 for winning the shootout. He and his equipment is too good to have done this bad for this long. Mike
  18. No, it is in' pre-emptive' (pun-intended) response from the liberals. M ike
  19. Another great read Chickenhawk http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0140072187/qid=1044684768/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_1/002-3665552-1669616?v=glance&s=books&n=507846
  20. Skydiving has the most extreme mix of US policy viewpoints than any other demographic group. There are lots of skydivers in the military who have pledged to die for our freedoms and, on the other extreme, lots of skydivers that live in tents, smoke pot all day and believe everybody in the world is good, everyting is OK and world peace blah blah. I do see both sides. When NYC Mayor Gulianni returned the 10 million donation from the Saudi Prince after 9-11 because the Prince said we need to re-evaluate mideast policy, I thought Gulianni was way out of line. Diouluge on any issue should always be promoted. For the US th think we are blameless or sinless is rediculous. I support our Military and Bush 100%. I don't always agree with everything but when have you agreed with anyone on 100% of the issues? I skydive everyday and go to the store and buy anything I want cheap because the US version of Capitalism, Democracy, and Industrialism works better than any other system in the world. We have more for our tax dollars, pay less taxes, have more freedoms, more opportunities, and the opportunity to be truly happy than any other country in the world. Dioulauge and asking why is good. Saying Bush is categorically an idiot is not productive. I seriously doubt an idiot could graduate from Yale. He might not be your favorite person, but I don't doubt his, our soldiers, or our our governments patriotism. You are not privvy to all the intelligence. I believe we need military action against Iraq and probablt North Korea. Korea will build nukes. I am convinced they will not use them. I am convinced they will sell them to the highest bidder. Wonder who the target will be? Mike
  21. My Dad (fromer Navy F-8 Jock in Nam and DFC holder) forwarded me this. It reminds me not to judge people on issues I am not intimately familiar with. Fighter Pilot Perspective Begin with the cream of the crop of young educated men and women, train them as military officers, teach them the skills of flying sophisticated aircraft and select the top percent making them your Fighter Pilots. Now further their skills by years of grueling study, practice, physical conditioning and send them to combat. Take them from their American environment off to war and deprive them of the comforts of warmth, sleep, home cooking, freedom amongst others and give them a mission. Brief them for hours and stick their skinny butts in a fighter at night dressed in flight suit, anti-exposure suit, full body G-suit , high-top boots, gloves, full helmet including visor, neck strap, night vision goggles and strap them in tight with seat belt and shoulder harness. Then add a few extras to clutter the cockpit such as chemical gear, maps, authenticators, side-arm, flash lights, pens, food, piddle packs, hand held GPS, survival gear and a picture of their loved ones. Launch them, alone or in a flock of aircraft to fly numerous boring hours requiring precise timing and coordination with controlling agencies and other aircraft to reach the area of interest. Refuel enroute and maintain vigilant awareness of aircraft control and performance throughout. NOW, start the action by pushing the power up to fighting speed, somewhere around supersonic, selecting and arming the weaponry for the mission, turning off all external lights, tuning your warning gear to defeat any surface to air missiles, air to air attacks, and antiaircraft artillery ground fire. Maneuver the fighter with turns resulting in G loads on your body causing your weight to increase by a factor of nine. Audio monitor information blasting from three to five radios, aircraft warning systems, weapons systems, command and control and if you are lucky communications jamming from the enemy. Search through your HUD(heads up display) for vital targeting information and ignore the streams of tracers lighting the skies or any weather, smoke or chaff that may be distracting. Update coordinates in your computers located under your left arm behind your hip in the dark and by God do not miss one digit. Recheck your authentication authority and release your weapon. Jink hard left and right and remember to activate your chaff, flares and what ever aircraft survival systems will help to avoid losing your 50 million dollar jet. Reverse this procedure to return to home away from home and extensively debrief all aspects of the last twelve hours and ready yourself for another mission. Rest close to your chemical gear and be ready to launch all aircraft at a moments notice for survival. Check the morning news and see your comrades on trial for their lives for possibly making a mistake on one of the thousands of decisions and actions they made during their sortie. Makes you wonder if the folks back home are keeping things in perspective. Jack McDougall (Whamo) retired F16
