  1. Well I ordered pants this spring about 5 weeks before a team on my dropzone, the same one phreezone is talking about. Anywho i email chuck directly and he was prompt in answering, there was a photo of a suit that he had on his in stock list but i just wanted the pants, so, i just sent him an order form with my measurments and told him to make it exactly like the suit pictured. I received the pants in 4 weeks and they fit perfectly, no problems what so ever. On the other hand the team at my DZ got theirs weeks after mine and the were made completely wrong sooooo i guess i dont know what to say about that! But im a satisfied customer "I fought the Po but the Po won" Dont mess wit da popo mofo
  2. Well i can tell you that we had a guy this summer jumping an MT-1x so i dont think its an TSO thing, the funny thing was that only two of us knew what kind of rig it was, also, was it demilled for a reason? I have seen several of the rigs complete with both reserve and main still intact with really low jumps on them but i would contact paraflite personally for all of that info, hell they built it. 3. The one thing i didnt see mentioned was the ability to just buy a new frame if the foam gets worn out. The frames for those goggles are cheap and all you have to do is transfer the lens's cause thats the important part. "I fought the Po but the Po won" Dont mess wit da popo mofo
  4. Cool, where do i go to get it done? I heard Howard Adams at Skydive Monroe in Atalanta? "I fought the Po but the Po won" Dont mess wit da popo mofo
  5. Hey nice pic, wonder who made that belly mount? BLue ones, J-Rod "I fought the Po but the Po won" Dont mess wit da popo mofo
  6. A friend at the DZ was telling me of a rigger that does an H-Mod for a PISA Heatwave, suppose to improve the performance of the canopy. Anyone out there know who does this, what exactly it is, and how can i get ahold of them? Blue ones, J-Rod "I fought the Po but the Po won" Dont mess wit da popo mofo
  7. Hey thanks for the info, the one thing i was really worried about was if i wanted to continue to jump PISA canopies and well since they arent made anymore i would have to buy used. Plus i think that the merger is so new that maybe we will have to wait a while for some feedback on how the canopies fly. Blue SKies, J-Rod "I fought the Po but the Po won" Dont mess wit da popo mofo
  8. This might sound like a dumb question, but has anyone flown or seen any of the new aerodyne canopies? I got one of the last heatwaves, still havent got it yet, but i was curious to see if any of the new aerodyne products were worth looking into in the future "I fought the Po but the Po won" Dont mess wit da popo mofo
  9. It sure is amazing what your mind and body can accomplish when it is put in the situation like a malfuntion, but when it comes down to it, its all about training! Anyone who is in sports especially martial arts do things over and over, so in a time of great physical or mental stress they react quickly without thinking about it because their body is use to going through those motions. I think skydivers are also alike in many ways, constantly mentally prepairing themselves for the jump that is ahead of them. "I fought the Po but the Po won" Dont mess wit da popo mofo
  10. Well i think if you practice touching your handles religiously before every jump color shouldnt matter. I touch my handle constantly (ooo kinky) so the muscle memory thing kinda takes over no matter what situation you might be in. I was in a pretty bad CRW intanglement last summer and i found my hands were on the handles even before looked down to find them. "I fought the Po but the Po won" Dont mess wit da popo mofo
  11. Hey dude, I love my hornet though it has gotten to big for me so i just bought a Heatwave, yea, i got it two days before they stopped accepting orders for it, so i hope it will be as fun to fly as the hornet, i also hope Aerodyne will still make canopies of compairable quality and price. 12. Hello, Im kinda new to this forum thing and skydiving as well. Ive been jumping for a little over a year now and the same goes with this web site, i think i check it as much as my email. I just wanted to say i absolutely love this sport and the people that are involved in it. Hopefully soon i will be able to figure out how to get a picture up on this thing? Hmmmm, o well, Blue Skies are comming (ok i live in ohio and the weather sucks) Jared aka j-rod "I fought the Po but the Po won" Dont mess wit da popo mofo
  13. I just got a trv-27 and i want to top mount the camera. The only crapper is that the camera is a bottom loader and i cant keep it attached to the helmet if i need to switch tapes. Ive looked at a coulpe of quick release systems but i dont know what to use. Ive seen a couple people use a stroboframe mount but only for their 35mm. Will this mount work? Any help would be appriciated "I fought the Po but the Po won" Dont mess wit da popo mofo
  14. Just wanted to write and say what a great reserve Performance Designs make. I was doing a CRW jump this weekend and got into an intaglement with my partner at 5,000 and there was nothing left to do but cut away. Smooth and extremely fast opening, I was wearing an extra 20lbs of weight and the reserve flew smooth and dosile. The landing was even better cause I didnt have a very good out but I managed to land right next to the two mains which had fallen into a small open field, it had and awsome flare so I just tip toed it. That was jump 77 for me, wont forget it and if you are looking at buying a reserve do not settle for anything less. It may cost a little extra but when you are in that kind of situation money is of no importance. Overall great reserve, actually liked it better than the Lighting 176 that I was flying, go figure!
