That's the difference that some of these folks don't "get". he might have been dead but millions of lives would have been saved... You can 'what if', till you're blue in the face but that does NOT change history... you can't do it. The Japanese wanted full control of the Pacific. They were trying everything they had. War is war and sadly, lives get lost. That's the price ya' pay. stir,stir,stir... like most of us not a perfect human being - but he was the right person at the right time with access to the right information. it's good to see a little more light shone on the state and its secrets...
