Got a Sony CX105 (I guess its called 115 in the US) with a Hypeye D Pro installed. Since a few days the camera turns itself on (from off to standby (blue light)) for no reason. It sometimes occurs when i shake the camera, but also when it is lying on a tabel without any vibration. Any idea what could cause this problem? Thanks in advance Ralph Silence is golden. www.bt-ag.ch

New to skydiving-where to do a tandem in Germany?
Ralph_W replied to yongcong's topic in Events & Places to Jump
Günzburg is about 15min from Ulm. Nice Dropzone. If you have a 300 Euro budget, you may not do a tandem which is about 200 Euros but you can do a AFF 1 / first jump course which is about 300 Euros. Much more fun, more time for your money and you jump yourself instead of beeing jumped. http://www.fsc-schwaben.de/ Silence is golden. www.bt-ag.ch -
you may want to try http://www.southsidebase.de/ About 30min from Stuttgart. Silence is golden. www.bt-ag.ch

Looking for a DZ in central valley California
Ralph_W replied to Ralph_W's topic in Events & Places to Jump
All DZ recommendations I got in this forum in the past have been excellent, so here I go again. I will be driving down from Yosemite to Perris next Friday. Taft and Madera are somehow near that route. Any comments about these dropzones? Any other dropzones nearby which are worth visiting? Thanks in advance Ralph Silence is golden. www.bt-ag.ch -

Will spend half a day in San Diego for business in early May. So I will have time to spend the other half of the day doing what we all like most. I have been to Skydive San Diego in Jamul and liked it there. On the net I found a DZ called Pacific Coast Skydiving. But the page didnt give much info. Is this DZ worth jumping there? Any other DZ in San Diego area you could recommend? Thanks for any input/feedback. Ralph Silence is golden. www.bt-ag.ch

Looking for Dropzone east of San Francisco
Ralph_W replied to Ralph_W's topic in Events & Places to Jump
At the end of April I will arrive in San Francisco and will travel eastwards from there to Lake Tahoe. Using the Drop zone locator on this website I found some dropzones: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/dropzone/finder.cgi?search=addr&lat=37.80544394934271&lng=-122.0361328125&rad=100 Are these all dropzones in that area? Which of them could you recommend, which should I avoid? Thanks for your feedback. Ralph Silence is golden. www.bt-ag.ch -
I know that there is a function in Vegas that automaticly creates an overleap between different sequences when you import them from the camera. However I cant find it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Ralph Silence is golden. www.bt-ag.ch

Filmed a girl last weekend. They landed close to her family and her fiance. Directly after landing she shouted out very loud "OMG, this is better then sex." As I filmed her, I could not see the family, but the TI told me, her boyfriend flushed and looked really embarressed. Silence is golden. www.bt-ag.ch

You might want to try: http://www.skydive-pujaut.com/parachutisme/ About an hour by caf from Aix. Very proffesional DZ with brand new Caravan. They speak Anglais (English) and German. But here is one of the most important sentences you need to learn: Je voudrais une grande bière. Guess you know what that means. Ralph Silence is golden. www.bt-ag.ch

Drop Zones between San Francisco and LA
Ralph_W replied to Ralph_W's topic in Events & Places to Jump
Thanks for the excellent feedback. I really appreciate it. Now lets look at the available drop zone the other way. Are there any DZ I definitely should not go? e.g. Skyride, no safety culture, etc. Thanks Ralph Silence is golden. www.bt-ag.ch -
Drop Zones between San Francisco and LA
Ralph_W replied to Ralph_W's topic in Events & Places to Jump
Earlier this year I have asked for recommendations on dropzones around Atlanta, GA. Got good feedback and had a great time at the recommended dropzones. So here we go again, just on the other side of the country. In late April I will arrive in San Francisco and travel down to Perris. Some sightseeing is planed en route, however a few jumps on the way are a must. So my question is, which dropzone between San Francisco and Perris could you recommend for whatever reason (great scenic view, good vibes, fast plane, etc.). Thanks in advance Ralph Silence is golden. www.bt-ag.ch -
For those who dive on air or even nitrox I would recommend to wait the 24 h before flying. For those who are realy educated on decompression, use helium, agressive decompression mixes and calculate their decompression on a normal computer, flying or jumping even after longer decompression dives is not a problem. Done it myself several times, used a Doppler (ultra sonic device to check for bubbles in the blood) to check for bubbles after the jump, found none. Ralph Silence is golden. www.bt-ag.ch

Using the search function? Are you Nutz? SCNR The only thing I found at first glance in 193 pages of search results is the word "skyride". But I assume this is pretty much it. Ralph Silence is golden. www.bt-ag.ch -
