  1. I'm hanging out in the Orlando area and as the humidity builds so do the "Puffies". Ah, big wingsuits, long flights, & puffies!!! See all in a couple of days. Jim Jim
  2. DESERT == MOAB -- CASTLE VALLEY & CAVEMAN RANCH BEACHES/WATER == MARATHON, FLO/BAMA, PUERTO RICO, PORT ARANSAS / MUSTANG ISLAND TOO TOUGH TO PICK JUST ONE!!! Jim
  3. Here are the average results from ((9) 2 from 15.2))flights on two different X-2(s): Alti Flysight Exit - 13.9 14.4 Saddle - 2.3 2.3 Time 197 -- 3:17 203 -- 3:23 Slo 27 Avg 38 39 Max 56 G/R 2.2 H Dist 4.1 Single best 15.2 to 2.2, 3:53, 38 avg mph, 2.1 g/r, & 5.1 miles. I'm 6-1 & 215# out the door. Haven't been able to hold the "Ninja / Zen" zone though! Hoping w/ gear, conditioning, technique, & processing changes, I can slow down some more, up the time, and enjoy the ride!
  4. Probably in the Base Environment due to regulations : Large suit (Apache, Venom, Stealth2, X-2, etc) w/ droque assist during flt & landing + proper slope (nautral or man made) + a catch medium (fresh snow or maybe crops) = chuteless landing? Yes or No Jim

    THANKS for the updates!!!!
  6. Jarno, "THANKS" for the concern! Yes, I've been pushing the line on the larger suits recently. After leaving FnD, I've been making 2-3 jumps every other or 3rd day w/ a progression from 3K downward on a the same suit w/ a very consistent canopy combination which is "lightly" loaded. The post was to acknowledge the range of the suit and what was achieved. Time to backup!!! Jim
  7. Since FnD, I've had the opportunity to make 8 more flights on a demo chasing Jeff & students, flocking, and solo max flight. The design is very flexible and a blast to fly. Chasing & Flocking jumps have been logged at 2:15 to 2:40 w/ break offs @ 6K and my max flight best (exit weigth 220#) has been 3:22 w/ slow speed 23, avg speed 38, & max 54 from 13,490 and in the saddle @ 1,460. Full altitude & some exercise and who knows!
  8. Flew one of the demos Saturday @ FnD. Got out at 13,880 and was fully deployed @ 2,060. Flight time = 2:39. Slow speed 32, Avg speed 48, Max speed 84. "All in All" a very good flight. Only problem I had was when I de-arched & tilt my pelvis to slow down the tail deflated and could be heard flapping. Should've given it another go but weather shut us down on Sunday. THANKS, Jarno & Robi Jim
  9. Got a 5th flight on a different demo unit at FnD. This suit (Justin or Tonys stock) was w/out zipper locks as well & noted elsewhere. It was also taller & less tight in the body than Jeff Ns' unit. Alti data: out of the Caravan @ 12,360 w/ full deployment @ 2,190. Flight time was 2:23 w/ slow speed 27, avg speed 46, & max speed of 85. I really wish the ride had been on the Otter which getting an additional 1 to 1.5K. All around it was a great flight!!! Jim R. Jim
  10. Got a 4th solo flight at the EXPO & w/ Altitrack. Out @ 13,250 and deployed at 2,350. Flight time was 2:34, max speed 61, min speed 36, & avg speed 41 (must be weighted). Great flight even when the right arm zip opened about 5 inches on exit, suits approx 2" short, & very snug! Jeff noted later that he has had an issue w/ the same zip. Jim
  11. Fall event was great! A few more fun jumpers and it would have been - well who knows!!! If I had'nt commited to the EXPO & Flock n Dock, I'd definitely drive down. Hate to miss the beach jumps and the views from altitude. Jim R. Jim
  12. First, "THANKS" to Jeff & Tony for the 3 recent flights on demo suit. As noted, it is well constructed & engineered and in my opinion a "Tank". Would'nt hesitate in buying from them. The 1st flight was following Jeff & a very erratic student. I really had to shut the suit down to stay w/ them but then at the student pull time Jeff & I soared away for some fun of our own. The other 2 flights were solos ((I'am analog w/ audible) no data to see, inspect, or disect) and the flights were just amazing! What felt like pull time (out @ 13.5) found me at 7K w/ a little more than 4K still to play with.
  13. As the San Marcos video shows - "We had your 6"! Hopefully next time the "3 & 9" will make it instead of flying their own 2 way. I just don't want to repeat the subsequent attempt - "It was a hell of 2 way flat spin and landing 2 miles out was'nt any fun either"!! Jim
  14. I plan to be in there Thursday afternoon through Monday AM. Jim Jim
