  1. CNN special: "Lifting the veil" • Conditions in Kabul are often bleak • Many women burn themselves to escape • Sold as a child bride "This program contains graphic images." http://edition.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/siu/shows/lifting.the.veil/index.html Yep, those muslim women really have it good, being protected by those nice, caring men in their society.
  2. On a recent visit to McDonald's for a hamburger, I received a bag containing the attached image of a skydiver on it (see below). Apparently they are featuring a series of ordinary people from around the world doing extraordinary things, on their packaging. The title, which is hard to read in the downsized image, says: Inigo Madrid, Spain 3D artist, skydiver, and Global casting starThe aircraft is covered with the phrase "I'm lovin' it", in various foreign languages. Poor Inigo is falling so fast that his colors are bleeding out into the sky behind him! The McDonald's "global casting star" publicity program is explained here: http://globalcasting.promotions.com/globalcasting/ It's too late to get your own photo on a McDonald's bag - the casting call is now closed. To see the "star" skydiver Inigo featured on the bag, click on "Meet our stars", and then click the photo of the skydiver. (I'd post a direct web link, but there isn't one - it's some kind of flash player or something.) The Big Mac was delicious.

  4. News: Story So I guess security guards on this train are supposed to just look the other way, and pretend that they don't see wrong-doing when it happens...
  5. There is no race-bashing in my messages, "thinly-veiled", or otherwise. The stories are just reporting facts which are topical in our world today. The stories originate from the news media - so does that make the news media organizations racist too? Should we not talk about the fact that blacks commit murder at a rate 3.5 times higher than whites? Should we not talk about terrorism? Maybe it would be best if we just swept these issues under the rug? Recent threads I've started: - Houston: Anglos are now a minority - Blacks: Half of all murder victims - Another Lying Liberal Journalist: The Baghdad Diarist - "A War We Just Might Win" - "Plot Would Have Killed Thousands" - The Taliban are in Oakland, California - Obama Favors Genocide - Valerie Plame vs. George Bush: Plame Loses - Germany discriminates against Tom Cruise? - Muslim Congressman: "Bush is like Hitler" Recent thread in which YOU have participated: - Houston: Anglos are now a minority - University installs foot-baths for Muslim students - Abstinence education and its effectiveness - Ah Yes. Our Responsible House of Reps - Cheney Taking Presidential Powers - The Court Has Decided - American Flag misuse - Libby Spared - Tom Delay is still Innocent You seem to have a fascination with political divisions. Oh, you are so icky!
  6. News: Full story: http://weblogs.chicagotribune.com/news/politics/blog/2007/08/study_half_of_all_murder_victi.html Doing a little math... Let's see, if 49% of murder victims were blacks, and 93% of those black murders were committed by blacks, then that means that... 45% of all murders originate from the 13% of the population that is black!
  7. News: Full story: http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/front/5039230.html A correction is needed to this statement: "The minority population in the county is 2.5 million as of July 2006, or 63 percent of the total 3.9 million residents."It should now read: "The minority population in the county is now the majority, and from now on, Anglo white people will be the new minority."
  8. News: Source: Yahoo News More stories: Google News Althought the mainstream media was quick to report the atrocities that were made-up by the Baghdad Diarist, I have yet to see them now report that those stories were all fake...
  9. As long as progress is being made, then why give up?
  10. This recent New York Times Op-Ed column has been receiving a lot of attention. It's written by Michael O’Hanlon, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, and Kenneth Pollack, director of research at the Saban Center for Middle East Policy at Brookings. Because registration is required to view it, I'll post the whole thing here. Web reference: Here.
  11. News: Stories: http://www.villagevoice.com/news/0732,thompson,77423,2.html http://www.hawaiireporter.com/story.aspx?530121b3-f5da-4d1b-8b00-80bed922de2a These muslim thugs are nothing more than an organized criminal gang. And now they've murdered a journalist, simply becaue they didn't like the story he was writing. How long will Oakland tolerate these muslim "moral" crusaders, and their attempts to enforce by force, their own muslim morality on an American city? Put it down now, or prepare to accept more of this kind of activity, in your own home town...
  12. News: Full story: http://abcnews.go.com/WN/story?id=3451976&page=1 You have to get way done into the article to find out who was responsible for this evil plot: "suspects were picked up, including 24 British-born Muslims and seven Pakistanis.". The poll question is related to the recent comment by Newt Gingrich.
  13. They're the only ones with the will and might to do it. No one else has the means to step forward and do it. Ah, but many spoiled Americans don't even possess the will to help others any more. The world prefers to sit back in their easy chairs in front of the TV, and let millions of people be slaughtered. As long as it's not them, everything is okay! So what's good on TV tonight?
  14. News: Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama said Thursday the United States cannot use its military to solve humanitarian problems and that preventing a potential genocide in Iraq isn't a good enough reason to keep U.S. forces there. "Well, look, if that's the criteria by which we are making decisions on the deployment of U.S. forces, then by that argument you would have 300,000 troops in the Congo right now—where millions have been slaughtered as a consequence of ethnic strife—which we haven't done," Obama said in an interview with The Associated Press. "We would be deploying unilaterally and occupying the Sudan, which we haven't done. Those of us who care about Darfur don't think it would be a good idea," he said... http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D8QGF5700&show_article=1&image=large So, Obama would prefer that genocide continue in the Sudan, Congo and Iraq, rather than risk the life a single U.S. soldier to intercede. I wonder what that philosophy would make the world look like with Obama as President, where tyranical despots don't have to fear anyone stopping them from committing their heinous acts?
  15. Speaking an opinion - certainly. But his religious views are irrelevent to the role of a Nazi, and shouldn't even be a factor. It's not like he's playing the role of Jesus - then I could understand the uproar. And ain't it funny how they get all high and mighty about Scientology, like it's something so absolutely horrible, when they're talking about representing Nazi's, who exterminated millions of people for no good reason at all? You can't get any worse than that. Scientologists are angels by comparison.
  16. What's that got to do with an actor playing an unrelated role in a movie?
  17. Attached - comparison. That's kinda creepy!
  18. News: Cruise starts filming anti-Hitler drama amid German uproar Filming started Thursday on a movie starring Tom Cruise as the real-life mastermind behind a plot to kill Adolf Hitler, amid German grumbling about the high-profile Scientologist playing a national hero. German officials have baulked at the choice of Cruise to play Count Claus Schenk von Stauffenberg. They cite the actor's ties to the Church of Scientology, which is viewed here as a "totalitarian" group that exploits vulnerable people, as making him unfit to play a German martyr... More: http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=070719121410.ijnrdmuj&show_article=1 My opinion: His religion should not be a factor in whether or not to support his movie.
  19. Valerie Plame's Lawsuit Dismissed A federal judge on Thursday dismissed former CIA operative Valerie Plame's lawsuit against members of the Bush administration in the CIA leak scandal. http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D8QFRJ381&show_article=1
  20. News story: Bush like Hitler, says first Muslim in Congress America's first Muslim congressman has provoked outrage by apparently comparing President George Bush to Adolf Hitler and hinting that he might have been responsible for the September 11 attacks. Addressing a gathering of atheists in his home state of Minnesota, Keith Ellison, a Democrat, compared the 9/11 atrocities to the destruction of the Reichstag, the German parliament, in 1933. This was probably burned down by the Nazis in order to justify Hitler's later seizure of emergency powers. "It's almost like the Reichstag fire, kind of reminds me of that," Mr Ellison said. "After the Reichstag was burned, they blamed the Communists for it, and it put the leader [Hitler] of that country in a position where he could basically have authority to do whatever he wanted." Mark Drake, of the Republican party in Minnesota, said: "To compare the democratically elected leader of the United States of America to Hitler is an absolute moral outrage which trivialises the horrors of Nazi Germany." http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2007/07/14/wbush114.xml
