I have only seen their classic suits so far. They are pretty cool looking and seem very hard wearing. I am ordering a two-piece propants and jacket. They have spandex in them to make them more comfy. First freefly suit I have seen with grips as standard on the legs. (optional on the arms and lower leg) I'll post a photo when I get it. . --so long and thanks for all the fish....

Just got a reply from Sherry. She did say it would take 10-12 weeks for an order. Delighted to see she's doing so well, it must be a reflection of her work. As far as not flying after scubadiving is concerned, all jumps are high altitude. If it counts for normal passenger airlines which are pressurised to (I think) somewhere around 8000 feet. Then it definately matters on non-pressurised jump aircraft going to 10,000 feet and above. Personally I wouldnt risk a hop'n'pop within 24 hours of scuba diving. I've had a friend suffer the bends after doing an intro dive and then flying home from her hols. She's still suffering, years later. . --so long and thanks for all the fish....

Hi, As a lot of you seem to recommend the Firefly suits, I had decided to give them a try. Their website is underconstruction, but they have some order details. I tried emailing them, but havent got a reply a few days later, does anyone know if they are still in business? Or are they just snowed under with work! I see they do a two piece freefly camera suit. Im trying to figure out what that means...seems to be freefly pants and a jacket with wings. But surely ( I ask myself) the wings must attach to the legs? Has anyone tried one of these? I was tempted to go for a 2 piece freefly suit, and get a jacket of the freefly camera suit, and then be able to switch jackets between jumps. The cameye1 on my new PC101 worked for the first while aswell, then as you described, you had to jiggle it to make it work. The cameye2 has worked no problem all the time (touch wood) --so long and thanks for all the fish....

Have you got the old cameye 1? this one has a blue light for stand bye mode. If so, then I think you need to get the newer cameye, which is compatible with the PC101. I had the exact same problem when I got the new PC101, had to upgrade to the new cameye (green light for standby). No problems since. Hope this helps --so long and thanks for all the fish....

Has anyone developed a pilot chute system for their helmet in the case of a cutaway? I know, if you get into that much trouble that you have to cutaway your helmet, you shouldnt give a toss about losing your cameras, but I have an idea for a system that should save your camera in the event of a cutaway (or at least give it a fighting chance of surviving) What I was thinking of was attaching one end of a short bridle (say2 feet long) to the outside of the helmet, say at the top where your most expensive SLR is, then the other end is a bungee pilot chute which you tuck inside the helmet as you put it on. That way it is trapped and cant come out unless your head comes out of the helmet, in which case the pilot chute inflates. Ok, who wants to pick holes in this for me...what part of this is going to kill me? It needs to be freefly proof. Maybe, to keep all bridle inside the helmet, the attachment point should be at the back of the helmet by the neck? --so long and thanks for all the fish....

I find that even the difference between the freeflyers and the Rw'ers at our DZ is massive. The RW's get quite worked up before a jump, they spend the ride in the plane concentrating on the jump, do the jump, land, watch the video and analyse who did what wrong. The Freeflyers tend to come up with the dive plan, have fun to altitude, have fun on the jump, then land and have even more fun watching the video. Then there's the guys who are good at both, they have all the fun! --so long and thanks for all the fish....
