  3. Hi all, Sky diving numbers should include everyone taking part in the sport except tourists. I jump around 100 jumps a year because of lifes distractions (does this make me inactive?). If I were a millionaire with no family I would find a way to jump every day. Paid up individuals are each important to the sport, wether they jump once per month or 60 times per week. 4. Andy Im having the same problem, I hope they sort it out soon. regards Graeme With love in Christ
  5. Cheers, that answers my question beautifully. I was so bound up with the stresses and strains of flying the wing I didnt even consider the effect on landing. Ouch With love in Christ
  6. I've got a question? Suppose the rig fitted beautifully (I say this cos I see a huge problem at the moment). If the only problem was wing loading could this be helped by wearing weight? Might be a silly question but just crossed my mind? With love in Christ
  7. I can only agree with you that the advice given on these forums seems to differ greatly from the Instructors and CCI's I jump with. I like your motorcycling analagy and extending that analagy. - the people happy to pootle around on a 400cc all there life and are happy exist in our sport too. Good luck to them, I wish I was one, but I am aware of my desire to be more adventurous. I am also happy to hold myself back in my own interest. I suppose self awareness and a balanced view is the key to managing the risk in a sport where the fun part is the high andrenaline bit. (remember that first jump?, remember the first jump on your own pack job? etc etc) With love in Christ
  8. oooops, check that stiletto, I meant silhouette 210. Thanks for all the posts and look forward to jumping with many of you over the coming years. With love in Christ
  9. Hi everyone, new to the forums so here goes. I am a regular jumper in the Uk but have kept to one DZ so far, Working towards the B licence and having fun!!! I am looking forward to the summer when I will spend some time trying the other UK dropzones out, and probably do my 1st boogie. Looking for a second hand rig at the moment - my ideal would be a stiletto 210 in a smart container, ready to jump would be good. If anyone knows of one please shout at me. Chat soon With love in Christ
