I am not sure I made my point very clear. A friend took some footage on his HD camera and then gave me the DV tape, when I try to play it on my non HD camera (PC9) I just get a blue screen

Is it possible to play video captured on an HD Camera on a non HD camera?

Has anyone had any problems with a Sony PC (9 in this case) with a cam eye that stops recording, I am sure its not me catching the switch. Andy
