  1. Hey Bill i didn't relize that was your 2000th... nice a very nice jump to watch from the ground, seen it all it got me pumped. And Bill i have to thank you for getting Angus back into crew stuff cause since that jump of yours i've been able to get at least one jump in with Angus a weekend. So now that you know you can do it... Lets do that three stack this weekend coming, maybe we can get Derek in on it and make it a four stack!!! Live Hard, Fly Fast, Hope For The Best!!!
  2. Myself and a tandem master at Parachute School of Toronto try to do at least one or two CReW jumps every weekend. We are always looking for more poeple to get in on it. Its a bit hard cause, lots say they want to it, but when it comes to it they are not willing to take the chance of having a rap, thus never get close enough to dock. so there is three or four of us here that want to get more into it. pdwing would you lets me know if any of those lightnings or triathlons become availible for sale any time??? I like when I can just drive to another DZ to check things out. Live Hard, Fly Fast, Hope For The Best!!!
  3. Do you happen to know what canadian dz would allow this??? i have only ever heard of one dzo alowing this and it was his son that the exception was made for. Live Hard, Fly Fast, Hope For The Best!!!
  4. My friends im not sure if its hybrid or crew but either way it looks like i'm almost convinced that i want a lightning now!!! Live Hard, Fly Fast, Hope For The Best!!!
  5. A good friend of mine just got a 160 TRI set-up for crew as we've been talking about it for a while now. So with that said and not having much experience with crew Tri sounds better for me untill i decided if i'm going to actively pursue it. If i do then i will be looking at a brand new lightning with all the options. thanx Live Hard, Fly Fast, Hope For The Best!!!
  6. oh and was thinking triathlon over lightning only because, used lightnings are harder to find and more expensive. Live Hard, Fly Fast, Hope For The Best!!!
  7. My jumps are closer to 210 now. But i'm also a hop 'n' pop junky all i care about is canopies and flite opposed to freefall. Freefall is just the way to get a canopy above my head. I also have some very good canopy pilots watching and coaching me. thanks for the concern tho :)
  8. I'm looking into getting into some crew this summer i have a very good teacher to learn from at my DZ so i wanna take it up. So the question is what are all the gizmos and gagets should i be looking for in a rig??? I already know i would like a 160 Triathlon so i will load at 1.35 - 1.38 (depending on the day ;) and i'm looking at finding one with a retractable D-bag and pilot chute and of course proper line set. I need to learn more about what i will be in toggles good containers and reserves to use while doing crew and along with anything i may have missed? p.s. This is a second rig to me. So not looking for it to do anything but crew. Main rig is a Mirage G3 with a 126 PDR and a 135 Vengeance. thanx
  9. I would totally come to a rigger a course at dunnville in november. Now this is if i can get all the other requirements done before then which shouldn't be that hard to do seeing as i live on a dropzone.
