Well I went out to Byron for the first time in months and was told that it is apparent I've lost weight :). I guess the hard work is paying off even if I'm stuck at a plateau now.

My goal for 90 days isn't really measurable, it would be to wear a bikini w/o shorts over them and feel comfortable.

    Beth, I think you're gorgeous...just FYI :)

Heh, that thought already crossed my mind... think I can do it? ;)

Just make sure you don't miss the flight, or get too wasted you get on the wrong flight...:)

    did you quit jumping?

Not per se, but the dancing is expensive, plus my CYPRES needs the 4 year, I haven't sent it in yet.

  4. I recently posted a video of myself dancing....This guy in China has me beat. I found this video on another forum that I lurk on.
He's dancing to Thriller. See what I mean?

Shit, I wish I could dance like that. Someone on the other forum said; and I quote, "Props to the kid for overcoming his genetic deficiency of soul. You gotta respect people who overcome such huge challenges." ;)
On the other hand, this video I laughed until I cried. His grandma sowing socks, plus his Hammer pants and hightops just blew my mind.:D:D:)

  5. Goal:
    1. Destroy myself, and rebuild a less puny version of myself.

I plan to do this by pushing myself far beyond my current mental and physical limits. I want to see how far I can go before I break. Plus, I'd like to be able to take my shirt off and have a girl whistle at me this summer.:$

Each week will consist of biking at least 10 miles a day, swimming for an hour, and/or weight training. Also, depending on how lazy I am, I will run 2-3 miles with the express purpose of prepping for a marathon, and lowering my mile time to 7:00. My ballroom dance class will be used for either warmups or cool downs prior or post beat down. Every Saturday will be a minimum of 40 miles on the bike using the same route that is planned for the Ironman Arizona. (I'm already doing this)

I usually can do this for about 4 months before I break, let's see if I can go longer. I think there is something really wrong with me.:S

I seem to remember another dancing former cadet:D

Sort of, I did join the dance club, but I never went. I was too busy trying to graduate.:S

I'm surprised I haven't seen futuredivot or airtwardo on here raggin on you about doing ballroom dancing. :|

They never let me hear the end of it just for simply watching the goddamn show on TV. :S:D

I thought you were deaf man???;):)

I am! I just have this annoying little gadget that I stick in my ear so I can hear the music. ;)

Hell, it was my wife's turn to watch what she wanted to watch, so she picked that, and she's totally and completely fucking deaf. Figure that out! :S:D Me? I would have been happy watching something else, but the lady in the silver thigh high boots caught my eye. :D

That blonde professional Julianne Hough...total hottie. :)

  13. Over the last year, I've taken up a new hobby....ballroom dancing. (I don't care what you think I like doing it!) >:(;)I thought it would be cheaper then skydiving...;) It's been interesting and a good deal of fun. I never realized how physically exhausting it is, especially when you're training for hours on end. I recently competed and took two first place's for two solo showcases (think Dancing with the Stars) I just posted this video on YouTube last night.

Am I any good, or do I suck?

I dont think dis-owning them is what i would call it.

But there are times when i can see parents, cutting off all ties and assistance with their older offspring, in order to help them.

Isn't that the definition of disowning??

  15. I attended a performance of Die Zuberflote performed by the Phoenix Opera Company last night. It was an excellent performance; the acting and singing was beautiful. I swear the man playing Sarastro had a subwoofer implanted in his larynx....he was making the floor rumble everytime he hit low notes. He almost made Barry Manilow look like a castrato.
Anyhow, during Act II, the Queen of the Night, tells her Pamina that she will disown her if she does not kill Sarastro. Talk about cold blooded. This got me thinking.....

FOCUS: Are there any circumstances in which disowning your child is called for?

I would say no, but I'm not a parent, and I've never made anyone that mad.

  16. What a great book! I loved it, so many plot twists and turns and it's kinda sad that there won't be anymore books to look forward to. I don't want to ruin the ending for those who haven't finished the book, because that wouldn't be cool, plus some of you are riggers...and pissing you off is not a good idea. For those of you reading it, take good notes, all I can and willing to say, you really have to pay attention, or you'll get lost.

I wonder if JK Rowling will write another series? Or maybe write from the view point of Snape or even Lord Voldermort? That would be an interesting book to read.

No, no, I would never commit such heresy. I took my Patron straight up. I mixed cranberry juice and vodka.
