Yes, you totally should have heard that song before. What do you normally listen to?

Currently, I'm on a classical music kick. I also listen to alternative, heavy metal, rock etc...

  2. So there I was, driving with Greg, and the subject turns to Pink Floyd, and I mention that I have never heard Pink Floyd's music before. Greg declares this statement heresy of the highest order, declares that I have lived under a rock and then proceeds to play "Another Brick in the Wall Part 2". He asks me if I have heard this song before. I have to reply that I haven't. Do you concur with Greg? Should I have heard of this "timeless classic" as Greg so eloquently put it??

  3. I went to Target to buy some soda, and was walking around the aisles looking around, and I saw the most evil candy ever created.
Reese's Peanut Butter eggs....woe betide me! I ended up purchasing 2 packages which I finished in an hour.....[:/] So much for healthy eating.

Are there others who suffers from this affliction, or am I alone in this?

I'm surprised the stores are already pushing Easter candy, this early in the year.

  4. I have Direct TV. I'd have to say it's a mixed bag. I have the regular dish/receiver, and the 250 channel package. Total cost: 176/month

    Pros:
    1. A lot of channels, so I can find something to watch (usually)that I like.
    2. The DirectTV remote can be programmed to act as a universal remote.
    3. The Direct TV people will help you mesh the sat TV input with your home entertainment system.
    4. The depending on your sat reception that you get, the sound and picture are excellent. (In my case, I have a HDTV, that is hooked up to a standard system, so watching movies on HBO/Cinemax channels, the quaility isn't what it could be.)

    Cons:
1., A lot of channels (most of the channels I'll never watch HGTV, LOGO channel, etc)
    2. Weather- when the weather is bad or windy, the reception, cuts in and you and gets pixellated (sp?)
3.Service- Getting anything installed/upgraded takes about 30 days. If you miss your scheduled install/upgrade date, be prepared for a 30 day wait.

    Does that help?

  5. Does he owe you money? If so, did you talk to him and set up a payment schedule and mutually agree to the terms? Maybe his wife is paying for his trip. I'd be very careful in how you phrase things. I'd suggest talking to him alone, away from work or a work-type enviroment and discuss it like adults. Don't raise your voice and try to stay away from phrases that if they were said to you, would put you on the defensive. If you need the money to pay off an important debt, for for an unexpected expense, I'd mention that to him.

  8. HH, is there some master plan already in the works to have the Premier membership apply to DZ.com and RC.com? Is that eve n feasible? that might be an incentive for more current DZ.com/RC.com members contributing to the sites.

  9. Can I get some pity here?;) My friend and I were in the left hand turn lane when a girl plowed into us. I am not happy.

Seriously....(it wasn't my fault, and I wasn't driving) I went to an urgent care facility and was given a perscription
for a muscle relaxant and ibuprofen. They also advised me to see a chiropractor or massause.

Would anyone have any advice to help minimize any sort of long term back or neck issues? I've decided to cancel my dance lessons, personal training, skydiving, rock climbing, or tunnel flying until I feel better. I've asked around, and I've gotten suggestions such as hot baths, sleeping on the floor, etc...

Would any of these work, or will I have to let my body heal on its own?[:/]
