were you jumping a rented rig?....were they giving you the next jump free...basically so you would come back and give them more business?

Cant i just post on DZ.com...get feed back from a lot of people...get home in the afternoon and look at the results....then ask more info about the events and maybe plan to go see one of the events.... Reason im asking for events is b\c i want to do my AFF course this summer...but im not sure im going to have time so i would like to pass by on a day where i know there will be a lot of jumps and even better would be a day where they have some type of free instruction and i could just sit in and listen..... but your right i could call...with a pen and paper, write down the info...then ask who ever gives me this info what type of event it is...and take up 10 min of her time....im sure they have all this information handy and have nothing better to do.... whats the name of this forum again?

I see in a lot of the videos people wear "vans" style shoes that offer zero ankle support.... Ideally you do want footwear that goes above the ankle and offers some type of support in case of a not so great landing...?

Im new to the sport....and cant do my AFF course immediately.....i would like to see a video of some one packing a main.....i know there are instructional videos out there....but its not worth my buying one now.....would just like to see a video of some one packing a chute.....or if there is any free instructional video i can download that would be even better...

i meant that the max exit point is set by ATC in regards to at what altitude other planes fly at.....not oxygen...

Besides reading hundreds of posts...is there like a newbie gear guide i could read? What are the differences between a student and a regular container....when is some one not considered a student? If you plan to buy a whole rig after you get your A lic...and would like to fly a wing suit (once you acquire the appropriate experiance)...what would you look for in a container and or main to be compatible with a bird man suit?...if any?
