Well it's time we bring it back to life then. My wife owns a Hornet and she jumped it in a Dolphin container and liked it ok then we switched it over to a Javelin and it started slamming her on opening. I jumped it thinking she was crazy and it slammed me too. I tripped onto this thread and think maybe they tend to open fast when loaded on the high side. The OP closed by saying they were going to go jump it and I wonder how they liked it ( ie. packing, canopy fabric wear, openings ect. ) 4.5 years ought to be enough time to form an opinion? My doc told me the class 2 is the same as the class 3 but with slightly stricter site and hearing requirements and has to be renewed every year rather than two or three years as with class 3. Class 1 is same as class 2 but with added heart stress tests and renewal every six months. He is a pilot and is surprised we don't need class 2 or 1 since we carry for hire. Overkill is under rated.

IMHO. I think everything in moderation. While I don't spend a lot of time focusing on myself, I do ( from time to time ) turn the camera 180 for a brief introduction. I think it makes the video more personal. I do this for handcam and outside video. I will as well briefly video manifest, pilot (if available) and or packers. I think it gives the viewer a feel for the good vibe we have going on. I have seen body parts done tastefully as well. It creates depth and orientation. It should never take away from the student. Taste, feel, moderation. Overkill is under rated.

My DZ jumps a flag regularly into demos. They use the weights and flag hanging below the jumper method. As an alternative i would like to know how to rig the flag to trail the canopy. Overkill is under rated.

Skylight 1 tapes a small sensor over the record idicator light usually in front of camera. A LED then shows the status of camera. I have one never used if your interested. Overkill is under rated.

Will the skydance sidemount work with Sony DCR HC40? Overkill is under rated.
