  2. This stat is inaccurate because if you are going to count the statistics of skydiving by each jump, you have to calculate the statistic of driving by each trip. In other words, it would be the number or people that are injury in car per 100,000 vehicle trips, not miles. Assuming that trips on average are longer than 1 mile and you still have the same number of injuries per year is a constant. Driving would be more dangerous that stated by the original statistic
