  1. Wow, sorry to ask about something un-skydive related! But wife in the airforce...I'm thinking of joing the British Army to become a pilot once I've finished my degree! Or joing the logistics corp because then I might get the chance to do some skydiving! Ok it was only a matter of time till I mentioned skydiving...bloody awesome...careful with the cash though, now working three jobs whilst doing a full-time degree so I can cover my expenses to go to Spain and get qualified out there on an AFF course! Good luck and have fun...
  2. Hey I'm going to Skydive spain near seville just after christmas to hopefully convert ot AFF and get qualified at the start of a new year!!! I was just wondering whether anybody had anything to say about the DZ cause there's only one recent one on the reviews section????
  3. Let's face it to arm the British police would be like leading lambs to the economic roundabout... It's never going to happen not because of any ideas of do they need them or not! but because the british government would then have to buy guns that actually work (not like the ones we sent to Iraq) and then train them all to use the damn things! They'd probably spend more on paper work worrying about whether to get guns than actually doing anything about it
  4. Hey I'm interested in any trip leaving the Uk. However, doubt I'll have finished raps by then... not sure whether that makes a difference or not????
  5. Yeah but think what you'd miss in England... Ok can't think of anything right now but I'm sure there's something!!!!
  6. Great someone else jumping in the UK!!! Froze my ass off last weekend jumping but got to go in the last load and the sunset was wicked...
  7. Hey, I'm tink, I only started jumping at the beginning of Nov but I've already been to my local DZ (sibson, which is fab) way too many times. Damn the weather in winter though! Done 7 jumps already, doing the RAPS course so still on dummy pulls. With any luck will be doing my first freefall this weekend as long as the weather isn't crappy...! Absoloutely loving the sport and can't wait till I get qualified...I'm not a very patient person by the way!!! lol
  8. I've only just started on a RAPS course and already love it. I expected it to be really clique at Sibson but it's not at all. The wealth of experienced guys that hang around there tell you a lot about how good a DZ it is. I don't really see how people found it un-friendly... I go there with a guy who did his AFF course in the US and they treat him exactly the same as everyone else! The staff are cool, friendly and most important excellent at their jobs. I would deffinetly recommend it to any newbies who need a place to jump...
