  1. You must have a lot of uncurrent people coming down to jump Nov-March. I know when I come down to a FL DZs I jumped till I had to catch my flight. If a renter has a cutaway at the end of the day he/she may need to (or want to) leave to catch a flight home. This said in the rental agreement I would outline that they are responsible for retail cost of lost gear, repacks, cypress fires, and or recovering the main / free bag (does not matter who packs it). As long as your up front and the terms are not buried in two pages of legal paragraphs you should be good.. After the fact you should in good faith charge them what it cost to get the rig back on line. Used main, recovery cost ex. , but legally have them on the hook for the worst case.
  2. How do you determine a price of a used canopy? # of Jumps, relining, ex.. Is there a rule of thumb?
  3. Slots and about 35 bucks and pack for someone very good at your discipline that has competed, or still is sounds correct. You will learn more in the tunnel and can often use the same coach as at the DZ. One mistake I made was going to he tunnel getting some great tips and coaching then going back to the DZ and doing sloppy 20 way. Take what you learn in the tunnel and do drill dives with an other person from you discipline to reinforce what you have learned
  4. What about the lost revenue if the rig does not have a canopy in it by the weekend. $35 rental + $20 per jump ticket= $55 per jump. The rig would be jumped???15 times a weekend.. That’s $825 in revenue the DZ is out… Look for you shit next time, or pay quietly
