  1. I couldn't find many interior pictures of the planes at one of the local DZ but the one attached will give you a bit of an idea of what they do.

There is NO interior in their planes, just white paint. The owner will cut off the nuts of anyone that even thinks about putting a sticker in his planes.

There is a mat on the floor and that is all the interior there is. The advantages: light weight, clean professional appearance.

.... I wear them all the time...

    Hi TK,

Which goggles do you like best with glasses?

I have been jumping without my glasses for years but I'm now getting to the place where I think I might be better with them B|

The old answer I've been using when asked about not wearing my glasses is getting old, just like me.

I agree. When I bought mine years ago they advertised that you could use the playback function to help with altitude awareness. When I saw the feature list that was posted I was really hoping they had added that feature.

    Alti-2 N3 has this

    Quote

    Menu > Training
When you select any of the Training simulations, your N3 will display a screen
that looks like Freefall Mode, starting at exit altitude. At deployment altitude, it
will switch to a Canopy Mode screen, and descend according to the selected
    training speed.
Training Mode allows you to simulate three types of jumps: High Speed
Malfunction, Low Speed Malfunction & Normal Jump.
CAUTION: Use Training Mode for ground training only.

A Canadian DZ recently lost a military contract because the army insisted on a large liability insurance policy. That type of insurance is not available in Canada.

That wasn't the reason the contract was not renewed. The insurance required was acquired, albeit via more than one policy.

The contract was not renewed because the Brits ran out of money. They (gov't) earn their money via taxes in Pounds but pay for things in Canada in $$$. The drop in the Pound made everything in Canada more expensive and compared to the other adventure activities they offer soldiers, skydiving was the one big ticket item they could lose and easily keep all the others.

Have you noticed your posts disappearing? The mods frown on the same thing being posted over and over again.

  6. Does anyone know of a link to a video of George Bush's AFF jump? I think it was for his 75th birthday.

I seem to recall that he bumped his head exiting a skyvan.

I'm usually pretty good at searching things out but I can't find the video of the jump.

  7. This site http://scrisc.com/ seems to have pretty good deals on equipment.

I am looking for comments both good and bad about these guys. I know nothing about them and their site has nothing on their "About Us" page, it's blank.

Are they good people to deal with? What's your experience with them?
