  1. kuss_ryan ehehehe ! Just got an email from him too. Thanks for the info. Serge Dufour
  2. Here is what he sent me : I really appreciate your respond,Am buying this canopy for my dad as a surprise gift,I located in pacific CA,i want you to know that am okay with the conditions of the canopy and the asking price as well, due to my occupation as a marine engineer at this moment i am presently working offshore, sometimes access to regular emails and phone calls are very poor in offshore due to inefficiency of the immarsat service.Fortunately the internet access working averagely and i was able to come across the advert of canopy . I really want the canopy to be a surprise for him by not disclosing the canopy until the delivery is made to him,so am sure he will be more than happy with the canopy.I don't mind adding an extra $20 for you to take the advert down from the site so that i can be rest assured that am in hand of the canopy I insisted on PayPal because i don't have access to my bank account online as i don't have internet banking, but i can pay from my PayPal account,as i have my bank a/c attached to it,i will need you to give me your PayPal email address so i can make the payment as soon as possible for the canopy..Notice you don't need to bother your self about the shipment,i have a pick-up agent that will come for pick-up,they will also determine and secure the shipment because i have some items to ship together with the canopy so let me have the weight very well so that a waybill can be created before shipment can be done, because i will be adding some extra fee to the payment which is meant for the shipping and insurance..all you need to do is as soon as you receive the money in your account you will deduct your canopy fee and send the rest funds to the pick-up agent information that will be provided to you in the mean time....So I will need you to provide me with the following information to facilitate the making of the payment. 1.Your PayPal full name. 2.Your PayPal Email Address. 3..Your phone number. **Once again ,I will like you to know that you will not be responsible for shipping. I will have my mover come over as soon as you have your money in your account** Regards. Serge Dufour
  3. In fact, the sensor takes a continuous reading and IF it's in good condition and the factory haven't fucked up, the reading should be accurate enough for the function. Also, the built-in microprocessor takes several reading by second so very little could go wrong (but the programming itself). This warning is mostly for equipment directly connected to human (medical) or monitoring life. As such, the present use doesn't really fall into that category. There are no device 100% foolproof. They could have selected military parts but the cost would have been prohibitive. Like it is, they're probably making a lot of money. By the way, what is the difference between a Protrack (or any audible device) and a Cypress or a Vigil ? The cutter ! Because the function is basicly the same. I could hack a Protrack with a cutter and some more electronics, a big battery, and it would be a similar AOD. Serge Dufour
  4. All this is a clear example how law is fucked up in USA. Anyone can sue anyone for anything. I wonder how a normal person can drive a car without suing everybody for his/her stupid mistakes. If I plant a screwdriver in my head, I can certainly sue the maker of such screwdriver because he didn't provide misuse of the screwdriver, based on such logic. Please law people, grow up.... 5. How can you get that insurance ? Where ? At Sony ? Serge Dufour
  6. The S-Video connector on the PC 105 is handy but in my case, I want to connect an outside video camera on it (a small tube camera on my headset and my Sony on my chest). If you look at that connector, it's at right angle in the camera. If bent, it certainly will break. I need a 90 degrees connector. I asked several Sony shop but the only have the regular cable. I'm in terrible lost. Any advice on were to get the connector would be appreciate. [email protected] Serge Dufour
