  1. Lots of Billy World stories from Jenkinsburg, GA! And lots of strong opinions until the end! Billy sure was a character - and a great skydiver! I will miss his FaceBooks posts....it was always fun to see what he would post...my prayers to the family and friends
  2. Chuck was a truly great guy - kind, thoughtful, fun....lots of fond memories of Chuck in the early '80's at LSPC...It has been years since I saw him, but am deeply saddened....
  3. "uncover - thumbs in rings- snap-cover-pull -punch" to release the capewells and get out an unmodified, surplus reserve with 4 line release from a belly wart -piggybacks -upgrading to a mini-system with PC and flatpack reserve -5 cell Strato Stars were hot -Freak Brothers Conventions! -Balloon suits -switching from belly bands, and making sure they weren't twisted, to pilot chutes on leg straps
  4. Travis - Is that Liberty State Park in NJ? Plenty of open space for landing over there. Carol
  5. I was at Ground zero at the time of the jump, as I am every year in memory of my firefighter brother and cousin, and we did not see the jump or even know that it was going on. It would have been a great addition to an otherwise somber and sad ceremony. There was no mention in the NY/NJ papers that I saw other than one photo. Too bad there wasn't more publicity. This was a great way to honor those murdered in the worst mass murder on US soil. Where specifically did you land? And thanks to the Fastrax team for a beautiful memorial to our loved ones and our country.
