  1. i havn't skydived with a broken nose before but it wouldn't stop me, i have broken my nose 4 times in fights and falling down stairs and having scafolding fall on me. Never broken a real bone though. if it doesn't sto you from going from a jog then i don't think it will be a problem. but take a ride to altitude to see if your cinuses act up, if they do just take the plane down or dive out. 2. yeah you were saying they tried welding nylon, does that hold strongly beauces couldn't they just use plastic sheet or soemthing like that. Build a man a fire and he will be warm for a night, set a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life.???
  3. have a normal container and use thick clear plastic that is welded together. have you ever been to the airport and gone on a comericial flight and had something of yours put in a big plastic bag? thats the type of plastic im thinking of, really heavy stuff. it'd be kind cool too because if they worked and were easy to make then cutting away wouldn't be such a costly event. 4. What type of glide ratio do you get on a wing suit??? Build a man a fire and he will be warm for a night, set a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life.???
  5. get a rigger to sew a patch where they put this rigging tag, and then ask them to put it on that patch so it won't destroy your rig. i think you are overreacting, but its better to prevent this "problem" from the start. just like not steping on rock climbing ropes. Build a man a fire and he will be warm for a night, set a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life.???
  6. not really what i was hoping for but still good. Build a man a fire and he will be warm for a night, set a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life.???
  7. how low can you go? list your lowest base, that you walked away from Build a man a fire and he will be warm for a night, set a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life.???
  8. i read the links posted and they were saying something about jumping a round with a rubber band around the top of the chute so it opened faster. with a mod like this could you jump the lower heights? Build a man a fire and he will be warm for a night, set a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life.???
  9. umm, im not a jumper, im planing too, so im just reading and dreaming about it for now. so yeah. but my plans are to join the army as a rigger, get losts of round and square jumps. Build a man a fire and he will be warm for a night, set a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life.???
  10. which is cheaper square or round. im not sure if this is a stupid idea or not but wouldn't it be better to do static line BASE jumps with a round instead of a square. so when the cop take your equipment its not something really valuble like your normal rig. Just a thought Build a man a fire and he will be warm for a night, set a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life.???
  11. Yeah it one of my future goals to do sometime. but study up on it. the scariet thing i think about the whole concept if hypoxia. at 40,000 feet, you suffer permanent brain dammage after 20 seconds without oxygen. thats what scares me the most about doing it. But another scary thing. you can get the bends from going to high with nitrogen in your blood, thats why you breath pure oxygen for an hour befor flight to altitude. oh and its cold. but thats all small shit, put it on your clander in a few years.
  12. umm. tyhe latest bond film feateures something like this, but your sort of ride it like a body board. is it real? does anyone know what it's called? and are they any good? Build a man a fire and he will be warm for a night, set a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life.???
  13. Why are the GK's only enlisted and no officers. is this just the competition teams or is it the whole group. The only thing i can thing of would be its like a reward to the enlisted, something that the officers can't have. Build a man a fire and he will be warm for a night, set a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life.???
  14. actually combat drops happen at about 750 to 500 feet . under a round canopie your not in the air very long, and at night its really hard to see paratroopers floating down to you, so sitting duck ain't the best description. but i could see this as a useful device if they wanted to steer something big from a high altitude, maybe a truck or motorcycle equipment for special forces or something like that.
