Ratings and Rigging

  1. It was in a movie, though someone will have to remind me what it's name was. The man behind the check in desk at a motel had eyes painted on his eyelids.
  2. youd all burn em at the stake if the incident report stated it was so? INCIDENT REPORT? Is there something you'd like to confess, but are afraid to?
  3. Thanks Fletch, for the explanation. Even with all the posts about things not being what they seemed, it was still difficult to understand how a person could not know they filed a lawsuit. The horizon is a circle.
  4. I've had so many off airport landings recently, my friends have requested that I take mine with me. Actually, I think para-hiking could become a sport in its own right! Para-hikers unite! The horizon is a circle.
  5. So, the man's physique has been discussed ad nauseum. Do you guys find strong women intimidating or unattractive? The horizon is a circle.
  6. You are probably more athletic than I am, but I've found in my first year of "rolling with it" that staying relaxed and paying attention are key. Every landing is different because there are so many variables. What has helped me the most is serious ground prep before jumping, and a good debrief after with a coach who watched my canopy flight and landing. Also, I started wearing leg weights routinely every day (except when I'm jumping) to strengthen my legs and ankles. The horizon is a circle.
  7. I started in Dec. 2002 with a tandem jump. A 50th birthday present to myself. I thought pursuing skydiving would be cost prohibitive for me, so no danger there. Was I wrong, yeah, it costs a lot of money, but I've found extra work and given up all except the real necessities to have the money to skydive! The horizon is a circle.
