  1. I want to wave hello to MJ! I'm one of MJs kids to! When I traveled to California I went to MJ's two way camp when he taught at Elsinore and I really learned a lot each time. It's good to see that he is still conducting the camps. But now at Perris? I would recommend his camps to everyone who is beginning in FS skydiving. Perhaps we could steal him and have him teach over here in Belgium and Holland, when it is warm of course!
  2. When ever I come to California, I try to get to MJs camp. I was surprised that something that was free would be so serious and good. It is really great. I wish we had something like that in Belgium. Now I'm a true believer in two way skydives to get good. But now is too cold for any jumping! So I hope to be back in California soon!
  3. You should also check on the 2 way skills camp at Skydive Elsinore. I have been to it several times and it is great. And it is also free. I learn a lot when I go a save a lot of money on coaching at the same time.
  4. I think that you are doing the right thing in pursuing two way to get your skills better for four way. There is a great two way program at Skydive Elsinore that I have gone to. It definitly improved my skills and made the transition into four way. easier. And the program is free and I think that the coaching is excellent. I am not easily impressed by something, but when I am I want other people to find what I have found. This program was and such a huge help to me. Their program is listed under coaching on the skydive elsinore web site http://www.skydiveelsinore.com. Whenever I had questions about what to do when I got home, I emailed the man who runs the program and he always replied with excellent tips and drill dives to develop certain skills. But it is hard to visualize certain moves without having someone there to coach you. The tunnel is also excellent but expensive if you don't have all of the money at once.
  5. I learned that the best way to get good at RW is to start with 2 ways. I am absolutely convinced of that now. Outside of Skydive U, which costs a fortune, and the wind tunnel, which also costs a fortune, the best place I found to learn 2 way is at a 2 way skills camp at Skydive Elsinore in California. They have a free program out there and I was surprised to find the coaching is really serious and excellent. Most Americans are helpful at all of the dropzones that I visit, but when I go to California, I try and go to their camp. The last time I went, I saw many people that were there from b4 , all making hot 4 ways now. I have learned something everytime I go there. I such a big beliver in their program, that I told someone else in another forum below this one to write them. The man that teaches the camp is called MJ. He is good about writing back and I'm sure that you could get some good information from him.Quote
  6. You should contact MJ at Skydive Elsinore. He teaches a two way skills camp for new people like your self as well as for more experienced skydivers who are looking to improve their skills. Ive been to the camp and it is fantastic. I believe that the two way skills camp is listed under coaching on Skydive Elsinore's website : SkydiveElsinore.com.
