Well I have no clue if this happened before or how normal it is but ......... this is the story We were packing a new Mirage Rig that just came for my friend We put the pilot chute for the reserve ( which is darn strong ), and when we wanted to pull the temporary pin ....... BUM we couldn't pull it off ..........the photos say more what happend I was thinking maybe it happened because we had to press really hard on the pilot chute to stay closed But the pin is smaller than the ring on the base of the pilot chute , and we couldn't put oposite forces on it(also considering the metal plate on the top of the chute wich stoped the pin from bending by pressing the plate ) I am really courios if this happened before to some more experienced packers anyway i never imagined that this temporary pin will bend so darn easy, and is so flexible.

i read about pendulum efect but if you can put a link it would be really apreciated (so you dont have to do all the explanation again) thank you

well i guess it will be a slight difference in dragging i am courious if the difference is alittle big bigger in the behaviour of the canopy i imagined that it might be a factor that grows exponential with the size or something like for me it seems perfectly logic that the canopies would react the same( well just a slight difference but nt noticable) but i asked myself this when the difference is really big an 120 (1.1) vs 250 (1.1)

ok mabe kinnda stupid subject my question a guy parachute with a 130 exit weight jumping a 1.2 wl has the same responsiveness and flight performance as a guy with 210 lbs at the same wl ??????? it might seem logical (or not), but i am really courious if the aerodynamics change by changing the size of the "wing"

yo i dont wanna be rude but i always tought credits mean the text that is moving from the bottom of the screen showing everyone involved in the movie ...............and it never ends actually i have a question regarding this i am useing pinnacle studo 9.0 for editing they have a "credits" text option but i have no darn clue how it works and i am courious how can i do the pro "bottom to top endless credits" ?

Use Macromedia Fireworks way much simpler way much fast, way much...... especially for basic aplications give it a try

[edit] - thought - why doesn't someone invite them to the nearest DZ to do an expose' or to whatever AGM/manufactueres fair thing you have in the states? i think also thiss will be the best way to show "what they got" i will try to send them an email and suggesting this ...tough i am in europe so is kinnda shitty because the have the HQ in Ontario time will say........... have you seen this model on ebay or somewhere else before???

I saw the other day on the clasiffieds this announcement "L@@K HelmetCams L@@K " so........... -a mini cam that is a few times lighter and smaller than the standard skydiving mountings - you can record ten times more and don't have to worry about tape - the format is already digital wich means it won't require capture (for people that use a digital editing method) -Price :) (actually here comes the bug, on DZ.com the price for the setup is 299 CAD (250 $ / 193 Euro ) wich was an WOW for me but i went on their website and it looks like this is just the camera without the recording device (HDD) the HDD comes at a 599CND (505 $ /387 Euro) or i got it wrong honestly i think this will make a revolution in action photography and i am really interested in purchasing one i am darn courious how this setup will evolve and if it will be integrated by the skydiving comunity

wooee this post is getting quite funky first i wanna apologise for my english skills and as i see only people with relative low experience give advice,no ofense dudes i am not trying to discuss philosophy here, i was looking for an argumented answer simple (for the philosophy posts i will use other forums) my first reason for my search, was to prove to people some misunderstandings about the sport and it's safety becsue it will be hell fun for me to find that golf is more dangerous than Skydive, and especially if it's proven by facts hahahah hopefully i can find it and upload it, and tahn we can see if is right or not

I heard those days about a top made by someone with the most riskiest sports in the world as far as i heard skydiving was way low compared to a lot of other sports and i am courious where can i find the top or if anyone heard about it

i cut the metal pin that is at te end of the strap and than u can take it off so u do't have to actually cut it but u will still have the small strap attached to the camera but i am quite happy with the small strap because i can add an extra attachement point in case that the others fail ( i use an L mounting) let me know if it works or maybe u wrecked it already

well as i see i have a lot of profesional opinions i am not a professional rigger ( yet ) i was very courious what sewing machine is the most popular on DZ's becasue honestly i could co into a shop and buy a "full of options and features" small machine for 300 bucks , but it will do shit, because i am still worried that it wont suport double cordura with some insertions.... uknow what i mean as i see Bernina is quite hard to find iand i am courios what other modell might do the job Be courious Never Kills you ..but it might bring some headache to others

I was wondering what is the most suitable sewing machine for a dz i looked at some models , but i was wondering if they have the neccesarry force to sew thick materials waiting for inputs

Hey Crystal well we are waitin for ya As far as I know, during the firs period of the season(may) there will be a lot of free jumps yes u heard it well free jumps, why? because this is a new DZ it needs some papers to be done and also training the staff there and getting used to each other and so on so u might have the chance of doing some jumps for free but as long as I will know something for sure I will let you know Keep cool !!!
