buying a rig from the Classifieds
perryma replied to f1racer696's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I am the seller of the gear in discussion. After checking the information that the buyer has given me and talking to the buyer via phone call and Facebook I feel confident enough to send the rig to him without receiving the money first. I would have done this through the riggers, but my DZ is only open on the weekends and the rigger is very busy. I know that I am taking a big chance here, but I am confident enough that everything will work out. -
The staff are very helpful when you have a question or concern and are great at teaching students. The dz is on a small airport that doesn't have much air traffic. You might see one or two planes land there if you stay all day. There are concessions at the DZ that are run by the Purdue sport Parachute Club or there are resturaunts a mile down the road in town.

Thanks, i'll do that.

I have been trying to find out what the fees are for the 2006 collegiates and can't find anything. Does anyone know of a website that lists the fees?

If a DZ opens near Purdue, then maybe the Purdue Skydiving Club will start meeting again.

I can come down and teach you all how to fly through Mesquite trees!

Kroops are fine if you dont have to wear glasses, but they suck for wearing over glasses. The Nannini goggles are the most comfortable pair of prescription goggles I have tried.

I just bought a pair of Nannini Streetfighter goggles. They have a cushioned leather frame and can be worn over or under a helmet. I got mine with clear lenses so I could put tinted prescription inserts in. These goggles are super comfortable and they look like they will last for a long time. No foam to come off. The only problem is that they cost $100, but it is well worth the cost.
