  1. I attempted to jump a dc-3 at the Richmond boogie sometime in the 90’s. If I recall correctly we only made it to 1500 feet or so before losing an engine (or having engine trouble anyways) and had to make an emergency landing. I recall it sat at the “airport” for quite some time. Unfortunately I never got to jump one.
  2. 14. Good family and of good people! Wouldn’t trade those times for nothing! I stoped jumping about 18 years ago, Might get back into it a bit someday , but I know how that goes. I’d be all in!
  3. MY FIRST CUTAWAY TOOK PLACE BACK IN THE LATE 90S. WHILE JUMPING A DEMO CANOPY (CONQUEST 130), I DECIDED TO DO A PRACTICE FLARE TOO SOON AFTER COMING OUT OF A SPIRAL. (DONT DO THIS WITH A CONQUEST, LOL). THE CANOPY SPUN INTO UNCONTROLABLE LINE TWIST IN A MATTER OF SECONDS. I WAS AT 1800 FT SO THE CHOICE WAS CLEAR. NICE CLEAN CUTAWAY, AND MY 1ST AND ONLY ROUND JUMP. A FEW MIN. AFTER HITTING THE GROUND, I GRABBED MY OTHER RIG, WENT BACK UP FOR ANOTHER JUMP.
  4. DARN I HATE TO HEAR THAT. I USED TO JUMP WITH ROGER BACK IN THE 90S. THAT MAN HAD MORE SKYDIVING KNOWLEDGE THAN ANYONE I HAVE EVER KNOWN. HE WILL BE MISSED.
