Which canopy has longer recovery arc: Sabre 2 150 or Pulse 135 with same exitweight? I know that sabre has longer rec.arc, but smaller canopy and bigger wingloading=longer recovery arc Another question, is PD planning to give more color options for Pulses bottom skin?

I have not own rig, but i just got the loan spectre120 canopy and dbag. Now i have packed it many times at home and i can get it to dbag. Still my packing is far away from neat packjob, but i dont care :) We will see can i get next time the 150 sabre2 to wings w5 (2011). Btw, what is maxium recommended canopy size for year 2011 wings w5?

Hi, i have about 100jumps and i really cant get my canopy to d-bag. (small dbag, slippery canopy). I usually try three or five times, and then somebody else put canopy to bag. This irritates me very badly. I even consider to give up this awesome hobby because of this. What should i do? There are no packing courses or packers in my dz. And many jumpfriends have given tips how to get canopy to d-bag, but i still cant do it. Help me please! (sry my bad english)

Hi, I'm struggling with parachute packing. Most difficult is folding canopy and PUTTING CANOPY TO D-BAG. I have now 83 jumps and about 35 of them with full zp canopy. I am still very very slow an bad packer, is this normal? How many jump did you have when packing become semi easy job?

You are right, i should buy a flysight. It is a bit expensive for me, i haven't had even money to buy my own rig..

How much canopy type, size, and wingloading affects to canopy flying time? Has anyone measured that? Examples: -Pd pulse 190 wl 1.0 -pd sabre2 190 wl 1.0 -sabre 2 135 wl 1.4 -pulse 135 wl 1.4 - Aerodyne pilot 150 wl 1.2 How big are flying time differences between these canopies, give estimation. Pulse flies about 20% longer time than sabre2??

Thanks. Was it gliding flat? Aerodyne tells it can reach 4:1 glide ratio which sounds unrealistic good, is this true? I have heard that zulu has good flare power, was it better than Pilot?

What is the slowest falling speed you can avchieve in freefall (freesuit or no suit) when NOT tracking? Tell your exit weight also.

Maybe this post should be in base jump discussions, but i believe I will get better answers here. So, my dream is basejump some day but its is so high risk that i probably wont do it. I get a idea. How about jumping from Bjur Khalifa ~820meters/ 2500 feet with skydive rig, then i had reserve and aad, which decrease risks signifcantly. Main canopy could be base canopy or on heading opening studentcanopy(Pd navigator). Reseve with skyhook, so you can even cutaway in time. 820m to 550m tracking, 550m to 400m canopy opening, 400m to 150m time to cutaway if needed. How easy it is get permission to jump on the top of Bjur khalifa, anyone know? Thougts about that? Do not discourage please.

Is it possible to stall you canopy if you put your canopy in dive, and then pull very hard rear risers. I mean that canopy stalls in high speed bacause angle of attack change so fast?

Are there measured info about canopies actual glide ratio?(ofc relative to sir flow, ground speed not taken to account) How about aerodyne zulu? Manufacturer says that they reahced over 4:1 ratio with computer simulation!?

Simple question: what skydiving canopy has the best glide ratio?
