  1. I did about 500 jumps on Sabre 2s - 150 and 135 loaded 1.2 and 1.35 - never had a hard opening, but sometimes had to pump breaks to bring slider down or deal with end cell closures. I did get a hard opening once on a (seven cell) Spectre - it is the Sabre, not the Sabre 2, that is infamous for hard openings. I thought it was a great canopy.
  2. No bug, just wanted to thank you for creating an excellent new format. You solved the main bigs that concerned me, and it is now even easier to find the historical threads on forum topics. The layout and speed are very impressive. Big thanks.
  3. I was a big user of drop zone.com, but so far this is a big negative change to me, and I suspect usage could drop substantially. 1. Previously google search sorted through the forum topics well - if you typed “katana vs crossfire” google would link to several dropzone.com discussions, and we could read through lots of views. Now those links are gone because the site is reogranized, so the google results just produce page errors. The site search functions don’t work nearly as well as the google algorithms, as they provide a long list of tangential topics in the search results. 2. I tried search for “107” which previously brought up, e.g., the katana 107s that are for sale. Now it seems the search does not work properly within classifieds as I got “no results” although there are some for sale in classified. 3. It seems awfully slow. 4. I don’t agree that this new layout is better. The old one used space more efficiently, while this makes us scroll through more. The slow speed adds frustration when needing to scroll. Sorry to be so negative, but as I said I’m a big fan of the site and hope some of these problems can be resolved. I’ve seen similar sites in other fields disappear when the design changed. The loss of links to google searches is a real disappointment as there is an accumulated knowledge from over ten years of forum discussions which is now much much harder to discover.
