    Yep. ALWAYS go to the fitting room and try them on. Out of a batch of pants from different manufacturers, all marked with the same waist size and length, some will fit me, and some won't.

    Depends. Is the harness fully flexed to its maximum extent so that all slack is already up inside the cable housing? How long are the jumper's arms - can they pull it and activate the reserve?
